GoT - servers down?

Is any one else getting the 'servers down' message from Gardens of Time? I checked w/friends on the west coast & they arent having the problem. It's been 2 days since I first got the message.

I finally got in by completely bypassing the sending/accepting of gifts/requests. There must be a problem with that page? Btw, does anyone know how material requests are allocated when accepted into your garden? Since the system does this automatically, I can't see behind the scenes to understand the process.
