I'm new to iPads and I have a Keynote issue. I want to add animation to some Border Bars in a Keynote presentation. The animation will make the end points of the bars look as if "sweeping lights" are moving back and forth. The speaker can address slide points at lenght but the slide will have the appearance that something is happening.
I've had success implementing this effect by building a gif file in Photoshop then placing my sweeping light gif bars in Keynote '09 (5.3) on a MacBook Pro. When I transferred the Keynote file to my iPad Retina (128 GB) I received an IOS warning that not all images would display on Keynote. And... the bars are static on the iPad.
Do animated gif files function on the iPad? Please tell me about your experiences.
I'm glad to be a part of the community. I hope to learn many new things and hope I can contribute as well.
