Garageband

Hi new to iPad forums so hello to everybody
I bought a Mac Pro after my pc crashed and was delighted to find I could learn guitar on GarageBand so bought an iPad for convenience.
As GarageBand for iPad doesn't have lessons how can I hear my guitar and play along with how to play apps I have downloaded
I am using irig with my electric guitar and have also downloaded Amplitube
