Finding specifications

Since all generations of iPads look the same, is there a way to get the specs (processor type, memory, etc) for any iPad?

Thanks, Ron

Within the iPad? It would need to have a third party app such as Geekbench but it's not clear enough.
Outside the iPad? Well you got Google to help you out.

Maybe someone has a solution.

Thanks guys,
I'm supposed to have an iPad 4 (retina display). I got the Geekbench2 app and ran it. The benchmarks said that I have a model "iPad 3,5", with a processor type "ARMv7" @ 1.19GHz, 1 processor, 2 cores and memory of 988mb. The iPad 4 specs states it has an A6X processor, duel core with quad core graphics. My question, are these two processors the same or did I not get what I paid for?

The reason for all this is that I just upgraded from iPad 2 to iPad 4 and I don't really notice a difference in performance. Just wondering. Expecting too much, maybe?

Again, thanks
Ron

You will know that you got an iPad 4 (for sure) if it requires a Lightening cable to sync it with iTunes. The lower generation model iPads have the 30-pin connector.

Hope this helps.
