So I felt like I should post this, it's exactly what it sounds like. Just to post a figure of speech and look for an answer. I wanted to post this because I often am wondering about the figure of speech "rolling over in my/your grave" I don't understand what the heck it means! Could somebody please explain it to me?

I know I'm stupid for not knowing...

I found this Wikipedia article that explains the term.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turn_in_one's_grave

Can we also post our (un)favorite mangled figures of speech? I'm thinking of horrors like "the proof is in the pudding," which I suppose might work if the pudding contained enough rum.
