Fast battery drain...?

It worked for almost a year on my iPad 2. Mysteriously quit.

If you just transferred it from a 2 to a 3 or 4 it could be the magnets polarity. This was not an issue with the previous generations, but now it is. There were many "smart covers that just got the iPad3 sticker on the box before that was discovered.
