I'm not a big Excel guy, but have a look at the Apple Number's app Help pages and see if it does what you want.

hi...
for excel options / tools. i prefer Office 2 or documents to go.. both i found them easier than numbers from iwork.
if u've done the jailbreak, ******************.. otherwise, u've to buy them from the apple store.

yeah, i like office 2. and the in app excel bit is pretty cheap.
