Email not working please help

Ok so ever since I updated to ios5 my email has not been working on my iPad. Every time I try to send an email it tells me that my yahoo email password is incorrect so it takes me to the settings where I type it in again. And just to be clear I am POSITIVE that I have the right password. I then type in the right password, it accepts it and I go back into my email. I try resending the message and it says that once again I have an incorrect password so it sends me back to settings AGAIN. As I see, the password that is in there is incorrect and not the one that I typed in before. The password won't stay in; it just changes to this random other password that I don't even know about. Please help me!

Might be worth rebooting the iPad. Turn it off. Now press and hold the Power and Home buttons for 6-9 seconds until the white Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. See if this fixes the problem.

OK - one more suggestion (and you've probably done this too, so I apologise). Try quitting the Mail app completely in the multi-task bar. It deletes the app's 'context' (state) file and clears up a whole load of 'stuff'. As I'm sure you know, doing this doesn't delete the app, just completely quits it.
