DVD transfer to IPad2

I transferred a few DVD's to IPad2 using handbrake and it worked great. All of a sudden when I try to copy a DVD movie(unprotected) handbrake starts up and about 2 seconds later I get the message "encoding done". Any idea whats happening? Thanks

I just rip the vob files and then use avshdplayer to transfer them over, seems to work great

Had no problems with handbrake, maybe try installing ipad presets, because apparently stock ones are not updated. I personally don't encode video files anymore, I use an app called Air Video and just stream them to my iPad when I'm at home
