Dumb person using stupid device

Can't figure out how this forum works. Major problem trying to sign in, but now that I am here it still is hard to use. Why don't they make these things for dummies like me.

Well, I have a problem. I mistakely updated my iPad 1 to version 5.0. Now all the colors are reversed. I don't want to factory restore and lose everthing I had, but I don't see any way to correct the color reversal problem. Pink is green and people are scary -- early halloween!!

OK, I give up. I am just going to restore. So what if I lose everything. At least I'll get rid of that dumb icloud thing.

If your color are reversed, you probably activated black on white in the general settings...

If you go to your Settings app, under the General tab, press on the Accessibility line. There you will see a line titled "White on Black."

You most likely have it turned on. Just swipe the button to turn it off and your colors should be back to. Kemal.
