I had enough food to bring a river an an iceberg to level 20 so far it's been three fails. I don't think it necessarily means 100% rare guaranteed.. Imagine if the possible outcomes were a gemstone and a rainbow? Which one would it apply to?

I think it means that 100% more chances.. Hopefully my level 20s can give me those aquamarines so I can keep working on my egg collection

The message does not give a100% guarantee - it simply says that it significantly increases your chances!

Agreed! I have a huge stock pile of food, but I don't want to feed anything up to 20 except the biggies - paper, panlong. Lots of work and DC for food making!

100% more chances is a confusing concept that I can't wrap my head around. Thx for letting me know your experience w the two level 20s. I'd rather save all that food for panlong and paper crowns.

Maybe before the update it is just 83% certain that there is 100% luck when using higher level dragon, but now it is 100% certain that there is 83% luck increase in your chance breeding rare when using level15-20 dragons.

It's just a bug fix on the Luck.

Help! Does anyone have a good combo for the river dragon? I somehow managed to not get one last month and now we need them! I've been using water/earth and so far I've had about 10 fails all resulting in mud. Any suggestions?

That's the combo I used to get both my river dragons as you have a 50/50 chance. You can only get river or mud from that combo. Keep trying, you will get one.

After many fails I now have my Aquamarine breeding in the Island. I will keep trying for my display egg too. Sadly, I will have to get rid of one of my three Pearl dragons, as they are taking up the space I need for the new ones. (for some reason, I was insanely lucky at breeding Pearl, so I bred two extra to earn me gems while I waited for the rest of the Gem dragons to come out.)

I was just about to post that the wizard told a whopper when he said it would be easier to breed with high level dragons - simply because I've had no luck.

Good to know a few are posting successful breeds!

I have tried complaining, I have written in Mandarin, I have began using both of the breeding stations ....
In one of them there is a 14-hours sh-t-dragonegg, in the other an 8
I have had so many fails I totaly lost the counting ...
I say like the Swedes trying to speak Finnish - Voine, Voine

Now when I use both the caves for the gemdragon- project, I feel the joy s gone
But I have not sold my gemdragonisland yet ....

Just keep on trying, it may take awhile but you will get one. I used lvl 15 dragons on my EBI and got my Aqua 2 try, having many fails trying for my Display tho its early days. Sending some magic dust your way
