I've hatch 22 eggs from smoke/obsidian and still no garnet..

I haven't gotten one either. I haven't had that many fails because I'm using my cave for the apocalypse and I've had 2 epic fails in my island . A moon, and a solar eclipse.

I decided to double my chances by using both the cave and island and it has paid off. I am happy!

I have just got my first Sakura. Fantastic

While I am waiting for it to hatch I was looking on the DV Sandbox to see what was best to breed with her. Looking at a Paper/Sakura combo it shows that you can't get another Sakura. Is this right?

The only combo to get sakura is tree-flower. There is no other combo, naty found this out the hard way. It took me what felt like forever to get two sakura dragons! But there is (some, I do not know how long) time left for you to try.
