In the game I still have a goal of hatching a Rainbow dragon. In the Game Center I have two achievements left: Every last one, and two Rainbows. I hope I can get a Rainbow dragon for Christmas! I've been playing for almost a year (December 1st is my one year anniversary).



Have you really tried for a Rainbow for such a long time? I thought I was just unlycky .. and have just played since october 2012.
Now I understand I just have to wait.

Hey DIZ

I was reading posts about having larger habitats that hold more cash.. I'm struggling pretty badly to get a lot of my dragons at level 15 and keep up on the food so I've been trying to strategize how to get more DC!

Would you suggest having one designated island with one of each habitat and then only placing the highest earners in those habitats keeping all others in the hibernation cave? And then swapping for when a breeding pair is needed? I have a Panlong army, but as you know you have to collect nearly every hour same with the Paper army..

How you are arranging large habitats and having gold Olympus army is a great strategy.. Is it working really well? Any suggestions are gladly appreciated!

That would be awesome. However, my game still crashes when I try to gift gems. I even deleted a ton of people and got down to 17 friends and it still crashes. I only kept forum members and got rid of the random ones I picked up from somewhere. So sad!



Have you tried scrolling really slow? I still have over 400 friends, and the only time mine throw me out is when I scroll too quickly!

That would be great! But how to decide who to gift dragons to and which one. There is only one dragon I would want: the leap year. It's the only dragon I don't have that won't be back for a long time.

Yeah, it's a guessing game. I'm wondering if we only get to gift friends on one day - like Christmas Eve or Christmas. And how many gifts - for those who have a gem tree maybe 6 gifts, and for those who don't maybe only 3.

I have 4 leap year dragons so I would give 2 away as I know many don't have her. Makes me think I might need to breed a few more, just in case!

I only started my gold Olympus habitats after I had my gold shrines. I now have 8 Olympus habitats with a total of 24 gold Olympus dragons. As you have discovered the panlong army are the fastest earners, but for me I need to check in every half hour to reap the rewards.

I have 3 rainbow and 3 leap year dragons. I have sun and moon dragons, but these are in my hibernation cave as the blue moon solstice and lunar and solar eclipse earn higher money, so they occupy my sun and moon habitats.

It's really difficult when you are working toward your shrines as you can't afford to sell off dragons that are at level 10 and above, because if you do, you may need to do that process again a little further down the track,and that costs further $ for treats.

The key to success is not spending gems on speeding up breeding, but rather spending them to increase the capacity of your hibernation cave.

Panlongs are the best dragons to feed as they count towards 4 shrines because they contain four elements in them. Always work towards feeding your hybrids first.

Don't sell off dragons you may need later. And as to the Olympus habitat you only need to have one with 3 gold Olympus dragons in it, and you will see huge results with your $ earnings. O, and when I'm not trying to breed for any dragons because there is nothing new to go for, I breed rust and rust and magnetic and magnetic for $

I try for it anytime I'm not trying for a limited. There's always a chance of one when using any four-element combo. I've read of other people getting them as fails for something else, and I've yet to get one!



I wouldn't even scroll, just trying to gift the top 6 in my list! I've found a sort of work-around for it. If I go to a spot in my park that's only sky, it won't crash when I open the friends section. I think my first generation iPad is getting out-dated and can't handle the graphics. It's a shame because I don't have the money to upgrade



The new update referred to the 'possibility' of being able to send a special gift - all in the spirit of Christmas I'm thinking. How awesome would it be if on Christmas Eve we could choose friends from our list and send them a gift of a dragon? I would be really excited about that - giving a receiving dragons - a-w-e-s-o-m-e
