Have you got the Umbral Sculpture? It is hinting the coming of an Eclipse Dragon and the magic of the sculpture will be activated.

The luck with the Topaz must be unevenly distributed. I am quite new on DV and I just saw this:




It is my third, and I just used the Cactus Firefly when I had few gems left ;o)

New dragon uses blazing and any earth hybrid. Breed on my friends! Check out the Umbral sculpture too...looks ominous.

Weird, the umbral is black and synergy has occurred, however sun and moon cannot be breed together, nor can blue moon or solstice nor rainbow, gem dragons leap year unless it is like on like.??? Maybe go back and try panlong?

Nope, panlong will not breed with any of the rares either!

There's no release date yet, the Umbral Sculpture decoration just gave us a hint that there will be an Eclipse Dragon coming:
"When the magic is aligned to allow for Eclipse dragons to be bred the magic of sculpture is activated and a syzygy occurs."
So we are assuming it will happen November 13, when the Total Solar Eclipse occurs. And maybe we'll have another one on November 28 when Lunar eclipse occurs. You can see in the description, it says Eclipse Dragons with "s"

I've been trying cold and mine. Then sometimes air and mine. Nothing. Thx for telling me u were lucky with air/mine. Maybe I should stick to that. When I go back, that is! Eclipse now!

Suggested combo for Solar Eclipse:

Blazing + Bone
Blazing + Dodo
Blazing + Lava
Blazing + Obsidian
Blazing + Sandstorm

If you want to get Dodo as fail:
Blazing + Earth

•The Solar Eclipse Dragon can only breed with dragons that have the Sun or Moon element. E.g. Solstice, Equinox, BlueMoon, Moon or Sun. The result will be either of the pair

This dragon has been long talked of. Someone even went to the trouble of posting an eclipse dragon in their park (photo shopped) and said only moon and sun would breed one. The dragon was black, and from memory they quoted a long breeding time. This was well over 6 months ago. See what the real outcome is when the umbral starts to spin! I would be trying to breed a sun and a moon dragon just in case if you don't have one!

Tux! I have a sun on the pedestal, but no moon (other than blue moon. Wonder if that would work).
