Just got a paper dragon with flower+mountain bred them again and got a second one

Hello everyone, I'm a bit of a lurker! Been playing for a couple of months and come on here to get the best combos but I'm usually too shy to post i've been trying for a paper since the day it came out. Finally got one on my island with blue fire & tree. I'm keen to try for another, what will happen if you breed paper paper after 24th sept?

Hi and welcome!!!! if u have two of a kind even if that dragon is no longer in the market u will still get that dragon..... Ok that is what I understand.....

If the dragon is out of the market you can't breed it anymore.

If dragon is no longer in the market, breeding is no longer possible unless it is breed with another of the same dragon, and the result is always the same dragon. Except for Gemstones Dragons, which cannot be bred with any other dragon, including breeding with another same gemstone dragon.

You will get one before the end of month. I've been trying for the last week, both breeding caves. I've lost count of my fail attempts - mountain, rain, ice and iceberg. The odds are always better at the end of month. I'm taking a break and just trying in one breeding cave rather than two. We will be triumphant!

Lol yeah I've not taken a single break from both caves other than for blue moon and paper, and I get nothing but 8 hr breed times too (ice and iceberg) I suppose it could be worse with crystals lol

Welcome (dont think ive said hello to you) You just have to keep trying and you will eventually get one. Try switching them around, or level a new pair up to lvl 10 and try again. Get your visitor count up, that sometimes helps before you put your pair in to breed. You may have many fails before you get what you want, makes the success all the sweeter. Have fun.

Welcome to the forum!

You have the right combination, but you lack enough patience. breeding a gemstone dragon like any epic dragons have low probability rate of success, so it may take many attempts before you succeed, some are breeding it since the day it came out but still can't get one, but some have got it in just a few tries. It's all about luck and probability.

I was about to post how much I love the look of the mountain dragon with his fluffy white ugg boots and facial hair - but not a fan of the mountain eggs (only because I've had so many of them in the last 10 days). But, I just put mountain and rain back in on epic and what do you know, a sapphire! Hallelujah!

That's it for me, next I will be working towards the $ in order to feed my hungry dragons.

Yep, that's a welcome from me too. Great to have you here. That's the magical thing about breeding, as Marc has said, if you have 2 of the same dragons, even though they have left the market you can still breed them and produced the exact same dragon (except for gem dragons)...so, you've got to love that. It's the wizards gift that keeps on giving.

Aww it was a moss But I put the same pair back in and got another 12-hour timer. Please Dragonvale Wizards...give me a second paper! I'm also trying for my silver Olympus, so I put sandstorm and scorch on my island and got the 35-hour timer. Can't wait to see what I get!

I got all of my Olympus dragons with that combo. It gave me more rare dragons then common ones. I just have to wait about 15 more minutes before I find out if I got a second paper or if it's just another moss.

Yes! Finally reached lvl 35! I had about 1/3 of a bar worth of xp needed, so I played the races for about an hour and blam! Lvl 35.
