Good to know so many are in the same boat! Lol but how frustrating! The gem dragons seem to suck up all my time and keep my caves busy and nest full leaving no room for trying for the others.. Before I know it I will be doing same with Sapphire! Here's to hoping Peridot comes soon and Sapphire quickly so I have some time to get the others! Necermind how many months I've been trying for Dodo now! Lol

I just start thinking about shrine grind now... I regret it because I was too lazy to start many time ago.. The problem is, I can't get my 2nd Bloom, which is big assets to finish shrine grind...

Any tips for starting shrine grind ?

I understand it's a smart move to breed panlong bc it's 4 elements so that feeds 4 shrines with the same dragon but with only 1 feeding time n they make good $$

I don't have a second bloom either but you can still do it as efficiently. Panlongs take care of 4 elements so the others (plant, cold, lightening and metal) will need 100 dragons - 2 sets of 50 to level 15. You can do it with even amounts of storm&malachite or cactus&steel/mine or lichen/evergreen&copper/magnetic. My theory is that I focus on leveling any of the above mentioned and when I get close to 50 figure out how many of each is left.

So I must find my 2nd Panlong first, and I will go for 50 cactus dragons and 50 mine dragons which have short incubation time.. Right ?
Thanks guys ! Oh, wait.. Will you get much exp from making shrine grind ? Breed so many dragons and feed them, that must give you so much exp.. If so, maybe I'll start my Shrine grind when the maximum level has increased Thanks Jay & Naty !

So you got Panlong, better than Rain. Many are still trying hard to get one. Congrats!

Maybe its just my luck. So far i have a Moon, Gold, Seasonal. Still no luck with the Sun and any Gem dragons

I didn't realize i already got Ironwood last night, just hatch it today. I use Plant+Chrome.

And got my Rain with Dodo+Mud and Sandstorm+Mud. Congrats and Good Luck everyone!

Just a reminder:

Rain is uncommon hybrid, so if you breed Fog+Air or Fog+Water it will always result to Fog, so don't use that combo if you are trying for Rain.

Air+Water can result Rain or Fog, but because Rain is uncommon hybrid, it's 75% probability you'll get Fog, and 25% Rain.

So the suggested combo for Rain is using 3 elements breeding, so the probability is divided equally to 33.33%

Suggested Combo:

Fog + Mud
Fog + Sandstorm
Dodo + Fog
Dodo + Mud
Dodo + Water
Mud + Sandstorm
Sandstorm + Water

You need to feed 50 dragons of each type up to Level 10. So when you feed 50 Plant dragons (or any Dragon which contains the Plant basic element) , it will open up breeding of Plant based dragons to Level 15. You need to then level up 50 to 15 to be able to take them forward to Level 20!

It is not necessary to keep the dragons you level up (the game keeps a running total), so it is fine to level a plant dragon to L10, then sell it. It will still count towards your 50.

If you purchase the Shrine decorations, these will tell you when you use their "info" feature, how many dragons you have levelled up.

I've been having the absolute worst luck, the last "rare" dragon I got was the seasonal. It almost seems to me that to get a rare dragon you need to breed the best possible combo the day the dragon becomes available, or the day after. Any thing later an you have to hope you get lucky.

I'm on my 30+ try for Moon, and 40+ tries for Gold dragon. No attempts for this months gem or the Olympic dragons because I've been so focused on the ones I want most. /sigh/endrant

In positive light, I'm 10 gems from my Epic Breeding Island. Hope that helps me.

I would give them a break and go for your Peridot, the others are here to stay, just over a week to go until the Peridot disappears. It's great to have two breeding places but there are times when you still have to wait for them to empty.

Congratulations at being soooo close to getting your upgraded epic breeding Island - that's awesome, you will really notice a big difference with shorter breeding times.

When you do try for the Olympus dragons, dodo and scorch seems to be a great combo for gold. As to peridot, I would try to get one before it leaves the market place.
