This is a good idea I think things like how to breed the new dragons for the new guys, how to level up when you get a higher level, where to place things to get full advantage if bonuses and space ect ect. So first il ask that maybe someone could post a list of dragons and how to breed them?

Well done I' m trying that combo, no success yet, will have a few more goes then will change to another combo. Another 12 hrs to see what my 48 hr one is.

I finally got a Gold Dragon from Brass + Fire. w00t. It only took roughly 100 attempts, but she's here. I'm so relieved, I was honestly starting to believe it wasn't possible. Now I just need one more for the habitat to be full, lol. I'm so addicted to this game! wooohooo!

Like us all here Congrats on your Gold, must try for my sometime soon, but they keep giving us new ones.

I was looking in the market when I mistakenly clicked on the buy gems/food/gold. I never noticed but the 50gems is $1.99, where as the food and gold is $0.99 for the base lot. Kind of unfair. Yes I'm cheap, but it's kept me from buying gems yet.

But that's because Gems are by far the most valuable commodity in the game. Gold can quite easily be generated in large quantities, and food can be grown with the gold you accumulate. Gems on the other hand take a long time to stockpile since they only come from up to 6 friends a day and your Gem dragons, with the occasional bonus from the races...

It's perfectly OK to be "cheap" about it. You just need to balance that reluctance to purchase gems with the patience you will need to stockpile your gems over time for when you really need them! Some folks are happy to play slowly and save up for some of the games big upgrades over several months, and there is nothing wrong with that approach at all!
