Oh no that's too funny ok what I did was when I saw u know those statements that appear when the game is loading I read it say "visit ur friends islands n tap on the party hats" something like that I didn't see the party hats in the habitats so I summed in saw the ppl walking around so I started to tap on their hats LOL I was like what money are they talking about I would follow all of these small ppl n nothing later on this forum I heard about again so I was like I am doing this all wrong so I went back n saw the party hats lol

Thanks, confirm it is a rainbow. Im building rainbow habitat now. I breed the same combo to try my luck. But only get 8 hrs breeding time. I think visitor play a role here. I m will breed another one when I see my visitor hit above 50

Hi Marie, I have 3 metal dragons to get before gold, and 3 plant before my plant shrine turns gold. If I leveled up three plant, I still need to level up 3 metal. If I breed 3 malachite as that is a plant and metal dragon that is all I need to breed as it will cover both my metal and plant shrines as the malachite covers both elements.

I always recommend going for 2 panlong dragons so you can start breeding them. Keeping in mind that once you get a panlong dragon to level 10, you will also add one extra to your other shrines as panlong has 4 elements, so that counts for earth, fire, water and air all at the same.

I have added the food and coin count for the shrine grind. It costs a total of 16 million, 383 thousand coins to level up one dragon to level 15. If I did 3 plant and 3 metal, I would need to multiply that figure by 6. Breeding 3 malachite means I am only multiplying that number x 3, and I still get 2 gold shrines.

Once I get all gold, I will work on my other egg pedestals and also level up a few dragons so I can get a few crowns. I'm thinking, one panlong, one clover, one frost fire, one reindeer - mostly cold and earth as those habitats hold the greatest amount of money.
So, just to shock you - here is the shrine grind.

I felt the same frustration as others, but here's what worked for me (I have 3 rubies now after 30 fails). I took the fails that resulted in chromes (2) and scorches (2), leveled them to 10 and bred in the Sanctuary. I also redecorated islands just prior to breeding to increase the visitors to 70. No clue if both tactics were coincidence, but it landed me 2 rubies back to back. The strategy also helped me pass the time and release frustration. Don't give up! Good luck!

Congrats, I have 16 fireworks displayed in my island resulted from fails to get ruby.
I will continue trying, but I'm happy to get my first rainbow when I take a break to ruby. I hav another dragon breeding that could be sun/moon. Still 2hours to go to confirm which egg.
Will try ruby again today!
I think visitor play a role here, So far, I only hav 52 visitor, not yet hit 60 ...

Did anyone else have their friends disappear? I decided to buy the gemstone tree last night since I made several new DV friends. I was just about to begin gifting gems & all my friends are gone!! Anyone else having this problem? My friends show up in the gamecenter app but not in the DV app.. Any ideas as to what might be going on?

I experienced this in one of the night, same like u. Friends are shows in game centre but not in DV, do not worried. My one just fine in the next morning. May b u can try to turn off ur device and retry .

So as it turns out, as I go to breed the new Gold, I don't have a current dragon! This whole time I thought I had them all! -_-
