Does anyone know how long the treasure habitat takes to build?

Yes, the treasure island takes only 6 hours to build. I have just purchased mine from the market. It's a shame we didn't get another new island. I just sold off one of my rainbow habitats, 12 of my firework eggs, 4 firework cauldrons, and did a shuffle to fit in the new treasure habitat.

Just checked out Brooklyn's island. One gold already in the habitat and another gold egg hatching. The egg looks amazing. I guess this one is here to stay!

I'm liking the new treasure habitat, I'm assuming more new dragons to come as its not a 'gold' habitat, its a shame that we didn't get a new island though as I'm having trouble fitting this one in

Another confirmed combo for gold is metal and flower. This could also give you a malachite, amongst other dragons. I have just visited a few people's games, and many of them appear to be using this combo.

No, it would appear I most likely have a rainbow, however I need to wait for it to finish breeding. The confirmed combination is brass and flower. Edit. However, I see Brooklyn has just listed brass and current as the combo that has snagged a gold dragon, so I guess try both combos. Maybe I do have a gold after all. That would be a first for me, to be the first on this forum to actually breed a new dragon. Fingers crossed and happy breeding everyone. Yes, it is confirmed, brass and current will give a number of different dragons - rainbow and gold as two of the dragons listed.

I felt the same frustration as others, but here's what worked for me (I have 3 rubies now after 30 fails). I took the fails that resulted in chromes (2) and scorches (2), leveled them to 10 and bred in the Sanctuary. I also redecorated islands just prior to breeding to increase the visitors to 70. No clue if both tactics were coincidence, but it landed me 2 rubies back to back. The strategy also helped me pass the time and release frustration. Don't give up! Good luck!

Ok I have seen that the ones who got gold has said the used brass n current well I have not been able to get current so I said what other combo similar to this can I use so I tired brass n sonic breeding time 48hrs don't know of I got gold though what other dragon could it be? Does anyone know ??

Oh just checked it could be rainbow or sun n maybe gold am so excited bc I don't have any of these doing the DV HAPPY DANCE

Still have not got gold, but at least i got my 2nd ruby before the gold came out. my nursery is clogged by 2moon and 1ruby waiting to be hatch. i'm not in hurry for gold, as i don't have space yet to place the treasure habitat. Need to reconstruct my island. Good luck to everyone! Happy Friday the 13th! should have made Freddie's Dragon. Hehe!

You will have either a gold or a rainbow from brass and sonic. Fingers crossed you have the new gold. Congratulations on which ever dragon you have bred.

OMG another new dragon?? Just when I get sooo close to getting them all too -lol Ok so a gold dragon hey.....well are there any other confirmed combos besides Current /Brass and Metal/Flower? Also how long is the breed time?? I'm excited - this dang game is soooo addicting!

Thank you - this will be very helpful. It is tempting to go for a combo that includes Rainbow etc. but I think I will try metal and fire next! Good luck getting the GOLD!

Only downside to the metal/fire combo is that the Forge breed time is a dreaded 24 hours!!

That's true. With any metal and fire combo, the forge will be one of the possible dragons that will be bred. Happy breeding.

I believe the new gold dragon is in celebration of the Olympics. Cool if that's correct.
