I got me 2nd pearl in the 2 tries. Im so happy. I got my 2solstice, butterfly and pearl. Should i display or breed my 2nd pearl. Thank for all the great input.

I would breed an try for a third then display but that's just me

To get a moon dragon do u have to start the egg before 7am or have I finish before 7am but after 7 pm

I've just been thinking about this too, I have my second pearl on the way and think it would be a shame not to let it fly free! I didn't get an emerald egg to display so won't get the full set. I think I'll hatch this one and try for a third to display. The gem island won't fill up for a long time yet.

I think this might be a myth? Would love to hear some others experience, I got 2 suns started in the afternoon and moons started in the evening (9ish) and at around 6am. But I'm not sure if DV knows what time zone I'm in?

What I found I says from 701am to 7pm chance for sun for moon 701pm to 7am but can never believe everything u read

I think I would have to agree with that. I decided to display my second egg, but I have plenty of time to try for pearl #3. The gem is only 1 per week, but it's one guaranteed.

I always put 2nd on display, you already have one in island, why need 2? You don't have a display yet, so make it a display. You might not get the 3rd, and you'll regret it not having it on display. If you are thinking about the gem it can give, well it's just add'l 1gem per week, it's just too little. You can get much more a day from your friends and colosseum event. And that gem egg is just too pretty to resist.

Hey fletch, if you are viewing this thread, congrats on your solstice dragon. I just visited your park picking up the $ from your party hats. I see you are breeding a sun and solstice. I know you didn't get your emerald dragon, and I don't see a pearl for you yet either. All fingers crossed for the great dragonvale mathematician from down under 'Brisneyland'

It's better to miss one egg than to miss all. so don't give up collecting just because you didn't get other eggs.

Cant we bread the pearls together? I know they dont breed with normal dragons but what about between them?

1. Whats the % i get if i upgrade the breeding caves?

Gemstone Dragons cannot be bred with any other dragon, including breeding with another Gemstone Dragon.

It will only reduce the breeding time by 20%, but will not increase the % of getting rare if that what you mean.
