Im concentrating ob the pearl ( with no luck i might add) . How long do i still have to get the butterfly ? Can i get it as long as its in the market?

I don't know the specific date it will fly away, but it will do!
You can breed any dragon for as long as it is in the market place.
After it vanishes, they can only be bred if you have already got 2 and breed those 2 together.

Ok so I've been reading this forum for a while & it really does help thx everyone but I saw this post & thought I should say something. Correct me if I'm wrong but the upgrade only reduces the breeding time by 20% right? There's only twenty four hours in a day and six hours would be 25%. I'd say if you somehow manage to play 24/7 then the max amount of hours/gems you'll save is a little less than 4.5. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents but if I'm wrong then pls explain your math for the above theory.

Maybe 6hrs is just an example, you can save more than that if you usually using gems to speed up, if you got 48hrs breeding time, and you want to speed up it will cost you 48gems, but with upgraded breeding cave/island it will reduce to 38hrs and 40mins, it will only cost you 39gems, so today you just save 9gems.

Interesting to visit the friends islands which I don't do frequently enough. 9,000 per party at is a nice incentive and it is interesting to see how others play the game. I have friends who are all about the money, hence big bang dragons and me and others who want to show off all the dragons they have bred.

I still have not gotten the pearl. Obviously for most it's easier than emerald but I think ive tried same amount of times. So many people got pearl on first couple tries!

Try Metal & Fire, it's the best combo as far sas i know.

Use flower+metal. Failure time is just 5hrs(brass), 1hr(flower), 30mins(poison)

I got an Emerald dragon after only 6 tries. I have tried for Pearl like 20 times now and still no luck - sooo frustrating. I decided to take a break and go for a Panlong so I tried Blazing / Mud in the EBS and Fog / Lava in the EBC. Got a 8 hour on the EBS and got a dreaded 10 hour lava on the EBC. (banging head against wall). At least I paid $12 to get some gems and upgraded both caves finally. I will go back to the Pearl hunt as soon as worthless lava and the other 8 hour are done. Hopefully changing things up a bit will bring me some luck!

Try changing your name to PEARL Eric. Lols! For your panlong, you can try mud+butterfly and fog+sakura. It's also a confirmed combo.

Panlong and metal can be forge... I slipped with my fingers and accidentally hit a panlong instead of an earth.. Otherwise is the simplest forge just plain metal and fire.

LMAO - yeah I know its kind of a funny name (Emerald Eric) but I figured my birthstone is an emerald, and I started playing and joined this forum right when the Emerald came out so I figured it was fitting. Thanks for the Mud / Butterfly suggestion. I will try that soon and I'm going to stay positive cause I know sooner or later I will get that dang Pearl!
