What is the trick to get all positives for dragons? I have a lot of negatives... Help

It's called luck of the draw, also using the right combos for each dragon, but basically it boils down to luck and patience. Hang in there you'll get them!

Do you mean positive and negative signs beside the coins per minute for each dragon? If so , do you have the boosts? That is what causes the minus and positive signs. You need to place the boosts with habitats that don't interfere with each other.

Probably what she meant, as I have never used a boost or bought one.

Yes that is what I meant. I do have boosts. I need to place them next to the type?

I still think its a bit much to expect people to pay if they don't have enough gems. Most people ( I think) don't mind blowing a few gems in order to speed up breeding in the chase for a rare dragon. That alone reduces the gems you do have! Look at the asking price for the pearl dragon too. If you want to buy it, it will cost you just over $50 to purchase the gems. Way too much. For the longevity of the game, I think the prices should be reduced. Clearly not enough people have made the upgrades, and in order to make more $ backflip have reduced the cost. Unfortunately those that have already spent money won't get that back. For the die hard players who are in this for the long haul, spending will be kept at a minimum. What do others think? I personally have not gone with the latest upgrades as I don't want to buy gems. Sure and steady for me.

Previous buyers should totally be reimbursed the difference. Only fair. It's about value for price. If I knew I was going to recoup with savings from gems not spent to seed up Breeding times then I would. But even 20% saving on breed time doesn't mean I won't need to speed up a breeding pair. It's a smoke screen.

^this.

Depending how you distribute your habitats and want to display your dragons, boosts can be bogus ( or not). Don't let them drive your design. If they help you, great, if they stand in yor way, sell them.

Yes, for example, the fire boost will increase your fire habitats' DC income by 20%, but will alo decrease any cold habitats by 20% (that's when you see he red minuses). The trick is to move your habitats and/or dragons so you maximize the boost without causing any to go red. A Bluefire, for example, cannot be near a fire boost even though it's mde up of fire since that boost has a negative effect on cold dragons. Hope that helps :)

From my understanding you cannot put the fire and cold habitats, for example, on the same island with each of their boosts.

I feel like I have a very strong connection with past players who formed a part of this forum. I think I've said it before, whilst it is fantastic to be able to collect extra $ when visiting others parks, what I love the most is watching people's parks transform. When I see people get a rare dragon, poppy, gtgirl vampi and others, I get really excited for them - that forms a part of my connection. The great thing about playing this game is not just about the game and the tips and tricks, and the dragons - it's about great people. So, cheers to all the great people - past and present

All I have to say to that is - :)

Sorry haven't been on in a while so

I was thinking today and a thought came to, how is there no rock or stone dragon! You would think it would be an obvious choice for a dragon- it should of been one of the first!!!!! I still have failed to get a pearl dragon just a bunch a 8hrs and 9hrs but at least it's not 24s like with emerald. Congrats to everyone who has gotten one. Also I was wondering why they decided to make the pearl dragon and not a alexandrite one -(sorry if I spells that wrong) I wonder how they will choose on future months with multiple gems.

My islands go as followed

1. I have lightning and fire

2. I have earth, cold, and did have metal until I got my 6th

3. On my third I have plant, air and water

4. My fourth has most of my buildings decorations with my panlongs.

5. This one has a cold habitat with 3 blooms as well as my rainbow/LYD

6. Metal and moon and sun

Except for a few hybrid dragons this works great for me :D

You should know first what boost will have positive and negative effect to the elements of your dragons. For example, you have fire boost, which will have positive effect on all your dragons with fire element, but will have negative effect on dragons with cold elements, so should not place the cold element dragons in an island which you have fire boost.

Here's a picture to help you understand clearly:
