I have had the same thing happening for a while and think we have sorted it out. Found out two days ago that the mysterious gem sender was my brother in law. Sister rang to ask why I did not return them. Turns out he was not using game centre, but all his friends who used DV that where on Facebook where on his list, including me. But seems I could not see him as I was logging into DV through GC.

So he signed into GC and added me and now he is on the list.

Not sure why this is so, but I can at least see him now and return gems.

You may have solved the mystery! I do have Fb friends who play, but their real names show when I sign in through Fb. Will message them and ask if they are the secret sender. Thanks for the idea!

I beg to differ, I have been playing since dragonvale came out ( and I have all the seasonals to prove it ) and I don't have moon or even all the silver shrines yet!

Ok, need to hide all the knives now. Had a good talk with myself today and am ready to experience lots of failures in my future and know it's not personal. So many of the dragons come so easily it can be deceptive as to how complex this game can be.

Yeah but imagine how you are going to feel when finally get what your after lol it amazing trust me don't get disheartened that's what this game is about in fact I think it's a little boring once you got everything you need I only need a second blue fire now and I won't have anything to try for untill the next holiday dragon, and the shrines fill the gap too but that gets a little repetitive....so actually striving for a rare is kinda cool lol x x x

Yeah ik but if u havent paid off what u owe it wont let u update the app I tried and it keeps taking me to my billing information and last time I owed I had to pay it off before I could update it.

You were saying it couldn't be an update thing because it happened before the last update. I (subtley, to be sure) asked what about the update before that? And the one before that? They could have never updated since version 1.0.

Does anyone else think that the dl32 "message" might be associated with the metal event in the colosseum? Has anyone had this event below level 30?

My son's level 20 or so, and he got the Metal Colosseum Event this morning.

Some of us do get lucky while others struggle tremendously I got a few quite easily but have struggled with a couple too my biggest nightmare was trying to get a panlong I tried and tried continuously in both caves for over a week before getting a success but on my other account ( I only recently started playing this 2 nd account around the time of the clover release it was just for gems at first ) I got a pan first try I guess it's all luck of the draw lol x x x

I'm wondering if some of the really long times to get the rares is tied to being in the research phase, too. So much of the breeding we newbies do has been made much easier through the pain and patience of those who had to start from scratch. Positives and negatives to starting later. We don't get the past holiday dragons and decorations, but we also haven't had to learn the combos for the rares.

Still trudging along breeding pans for shrines in one cave and irons in the other for DC. Need like 20 more pans then will start working on my 23 mags and 22 mine dragons. Arg. Need more patience as I certainly do not have the gems to speed them up.

I've also noticed, on a side note, that you cannot see what is breeding in your friends' breeding caves. Really wish they would get this viewing glitch fixed.

Yeah ik of course it happens when I lose one of my jobs and the new update came out. Atleast its only $6 tho so its not much.

Not at all. I wasn't constantly breeding for him as he is a rare with a large measure of luck attached. Just kept hoping. Plus, the excitement level when he finally arrived was awesome!
