Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Every once in awhile I look for pogo in the app store. Haha. I think last time was about a week and a half ago

They do have an app, but it only has 7 games, I think.

I vote that if u gift someone and they don't gift u after saying they will that all their dragons disappear and they can only breed tree dragons

See that is not right... I have a list that is very long.... I give 6 a day... In the order that I have received them...

Some people wait awhile for me to get caught up... But when I do they are getting one pretty much everyday from me.. A lot of us have been at this a while me since oct and others longer.. So our lists get pretty long. I do it think I have ever heard anyone say that they have sent one out and not gotten it back. And if that has happened it was by mistake. I have found that the people on here are pretty honest. That is why I only except requests from the people on here. I turn down quite a a lot bc I do not know them.

Usually a non returned gem is simply a 'and others gave you gems' i still get these alot and cant believe BFS hasnt fixed this yet. I get that msg at least once a day and i feel so bad that i may br missing someone!

It's is a lightening an cold dragon to make a water it's all a case of luck maybe try maturing them more or maybe when choosing the dragons to breed put the lightening on the right and the cold on the left that may work

I always give back a gem for a gem, it may not be the same day but normally within a few days you should get one back from me. I try to keep my friends list small for this reason. I figure it takes some people longer then others depending on their friends list. I will say that there is one person on my friends list I have never received a gem from, but I haven't taken them off (I use them for party hats) and still send them gems.

The beauty of this game is you can play it so many ways. Receiving gems is just an added bonus and for me it does not effect how I play the game.

Just my opinion.

That's dumb because some people get more gems than they can return or sometimes they miss a day so

Really? Somewhere I read that to get xp and money you should alwys put your dragon in the habitat or you won't get the xp. So I have avoided to sell directly from the hatchery, but maybe that info was just wrong to begin with.

Keep a close eye on it next time you sell something from the hatchery. Two figures will come up, the gold one is coins, and the green one is XP.

Mr Poppy, Birdmaestro, sir. I know you're back into work and not going to be around here very much anymore (yeah right), but I have a question. Now that Mag/Iron's have show themselves to be a better breeding combo for cash (in the long run), I have a question about spending gems. I'm going to keep 300 gems, but more than that seems a bit excessive, don't you agree? (Don't answer that. I know your view ;-) So if I'm receiving between 4 and 10 gems a day between family and Colosseum, what's the best way to spend them? Does it make a difference if I speed up breeding or hatching? Or if I speed up 1 breeding by 4 hours or 2 breedings by 2 hours? I mean 2 gems on an air/sandstorm is pretty self explanatory, but now there's a few more choices when you're working on a 4 hour time frame ...

Lay some wisdom on me.

Super3551 from your statement, it sounds like you are not getting gems returned. It could be frustrating, especially when you are just starting and trying to save gems. I got my list of friends by posting here on the thread a gem for a gem. I only accepted just enough individuals that I could handle. I believe we all keep a list and exchange accordingly by first come first give basis. But we all do our best in returning a gem. If you are concerned, you may want to pm that individual and maybe he/she could give you a timeline when you will be gifted back. It's hard when you don't have gems to upgrade or speed things up. But in time you will find a nice group of friends that gift back consistently. Good luck!

Good Afternoon All. Got a crazy message re gems this morning that I cannot possibly do a thing with. I know I am only missing one gem. It was provided approximately 13 to 16 hours ago (from the time of this post). Was that you Jack?? Not sure what time you are sending them to me at the moment. If it wasn't Jack and it was someone else, please let me know so that I can return the favour. How on Earth we are supposed to figure problems like this out, I don't know. Please fix this BFS.

Bugger, I can't upload the pic but it is halfway across the screen and says 'Your Friends - Trinity' followed by a big blank space that is incredibly unhelpful!

I hope you guys saw the remainder of my reply as I was totally kidding around. I would never wish that on anyone!

And I too have gotten the "and others" message 3 times since playing this game in December. (Those 3 times were when my grandfather was in the hospital in February.)

While I may only have 38 DV friends right now, I appreciate each and every one, and like you I do not trade with them all. I only admire their islands and collect party hats. I am almost always sitting and waiting for my gem tree to refresh so I can give away some more gems to very wonderful and friendly players!

Please do not think that I would dare with-hold or be mean to someone for not returning a gem! As I have stated before, you never know what is going on in someone's life behind Dragonvale, and I personally respect that!
