I am new to game and was wondering how we get gems with out actually buying them. My 4 year old love s this game and likes breeding the dragons?

1st LYD - Love / Cold

I stupidly sped up the LYD to make sure it was indeed a LYD and also to take this stupid picture...which I now realize I could have done in 15 hours.

Yay! Congrats! Lol that is pretty cool! Sun is actually one I did not get on this hunt...lots of rainbows and one moon. Actually there is still a 48 hr breeding so I don't know what it is.

I haven't posted on this thread in about 1500 pages *lol* but the LYD sucked me in! I spent about 200 of my saved gems to speed things up but managed to breed 2 LYD using firefly and seaweed. So it is possible

I also managed to get 1 LYD on each of my baby accounts, also using firefly and seaweed. I just don't know if I will have enough gems on those accounts to get a 2nd one in time. I guess I have time for at least a few more tries!

Yes you get sonic from lightening and air you can breed an air from fire and water and that ok we all ask questions still even when we are not new lol and welcome x x x

Well so far I only made it to page 1780. I have a friend in town that will be at my house anytime that I have not seen in years....we are also leaving town tomorrow for a couple days so I don't know how long it will take me to get caught up but I will at some point. Congrats to everyone that got their LYD's and good luck to those still trying! :thumbs:

I just read about Astrolabe and it says " The Great Wizard Dalfgan claims that the leap year is a myth, so he invented this magical contraption to capture THE EXTRA DAYS. Nobody knows if it works or not, but it is said to have "unknown behavior" if it breaks. Maybe it's best to keep it in a safe location. Just in case"

I still have golden dragon in the market and I do have more than 10 astrolabe. Is it because I have astrolabe so the golden dragon still available?

Hello and welcome ,for sandstorm you can use air + either mud,quake ,moss or mountain those are ones I have heard of being successful but the quakes and mountain give out longer duds so most prefer the mud or the moss

As for the leap year there are tons of combos including love/cold, love/iceberg, firefly/ seaweed , mud/ blazing, flower /storm, love/ snow there are others too but I can't remember them all good luck x x x

Woohoo! 11.46pm in NSW, just got my second leap year with love and cold.Got the first with firefly and seaweed.

But I've been upset with DV for ages now... I still haven't got my second moon. It's all I want

Flower/storm, mud/storm and sonic/storm keep giving me suns. I'm so sick of seeing them.

So PLEASE tell me, if you've got a moon recently, what did you use?

I'd been using love and cold got 2 rainbows. Reversed it and got my moon. :thumbs:

Isn't it kind of strange though....to me today is March 1st and it is 10:50 in the morning. Tonight at midnight will be officially March 2nd...so midnight March 1st would of been last night in fact. To think I wasted all those gems and that LYD is still sitting in the market! Lmao. Murphy's law! I had actually made myself happy with only one...it was to watch over my baby island if I ever make one. Haha. Guess there will be two to watch over now. :thumbs:

In uk it's 16.55 hours on 1st march so hoping to get until midnight.

I got my leap year dragon so my son was so happy and it does look pretty cool.
