Just got my leap year dragon 5th try using flower/storm. I'm satisfied with one. Wasted 40 gems and thats all I'll use. I know everyone lives to get two of each but I just like having at least one of each. Guess I'd rather have a complete collections than only some multiples. Good luck to everyone on their first and second LYD!

Im going to try for a second, but now i have one no rush. Not gonna use gems. Just gonna see what happens :)

To everyone that has a rainbow and an LYD, I have something to try out. If its possible, put a rainbow and an LYD in the ebi. Then post your results.

Already tried it u mainly get rainbows but I heard someone got a 2nd lyd from it

I collected hats on your islands, and I have to wonder. . .you had two hatched LYD and 4 LYD eggs in your hatchery. How could that be. It just does not add up. I could see, one LYD mixed with other eggs, but 4. Plus I did not see any dragons breeding in either BC. if you are in a hunt for these dragons, I can't imagine having one vacant BC, but two. I don't want to hear an explanation, but what I saw does not add up.

He has 2 LYD. He can breed as many more as he wants. He can spend gems to hasten the breeding and get the eggs in the hatchery. Col Mustard in the conservatory with the candlestick.

But it also says u may not be able to breed a 2nd one unless u buy a 2nd one and breed a 3rd one it never says u can't breed a 2nd one tho. Bc the one with my egg in the hatchery is my first one which is the pic I used and sent to the tournament if u want proof it's the same pic then the other one is of both my rainbows and lyd if u check my gems theres not 2750 gems difference there. And I can't buy gems till tomorrow when I get paid.

Whatever, you had four eggs and I saw them. Please do not respond to this post or interact with me. Thank you

Thank you fletch for clearing things up even tho ppl dont seem to understand that ifbu have 2 u can breed them and speed them up. All I had to do everyone was breed the two lyd together and speed them up 4x and so I would have 4 eggs in my hatchery and then my two lyd go back into the rainbow habitat its that simple. Its not cheating or anything difficult id see how u do not understand it segbert

Isla Fuego - Home of our Earth and Fire Habitats

A complete antithesis to Isla Verde is the desolate Isla Fuego

RedIslandFull.webp

This is island is composed primarily of dry earth with lava erupting from the active Volcano at the center of it. Ironically, but understandably, this scorched environment is perfect for so very many dragons, and Isla Fuego holds the widest range of species in all of Islas de Fletch Dragoon. We have had to work hard to make this island a viable tourist attraction, magic-ing in a water source amongst the farms that grow the food for our dragons, and building a series of environmentally controlled shelters both for our employees and the visitors. Guests don't stay overnight on Isla Fuego, but eateries and gift shops are available on the Western side of the Island, built in a traditional Japanese style, and you will find they make a nice respite during a walk around the island.
RedIslandVolcano.webp

The bricks in the path around this island were fired via the heat from the flowing lava, and if they were not blackened during production, they would end up that way in short order from the infrequent clouds of ash that rain down on them from the volcanic eruptions. Whilst we recommend wearing older clothes during a visit to Isla Fuego, and leaving any valuables, delicates or flammables at your villa, the dragons simply thrive on it, and in the midst of the current breeding season, babies can be found all over the island.

RedIslandSauna.webp

The only tree on the island, is magic-ed into place, and is held in a kind of unending stasis. This was found to be so taxing on the wizards that performed the magic, that other attempts at adding foliage to the island were abandoned. The only plus side to the harsh conditions on Isla Fuego is that the underground heat springs are used to ideal effect in the Sauna and Spa located near the entrance portal. We recommend all visitors to Isla Fuego exit via these amenities to leave the island, refreshed, relaxed ... and clean*.

*Bookings during peak times are essential.

I love you all but seriously u have to relax my friends, remember no one forces u to buy gems and it is of your own volition you do...

Au contraries, mon ami.

It does force you to buy gems when a highly hyped dragon is made available and then it's announced that it will only be available for two days. Then you easily get the first one and naturally you want a pair so you can breed after it's gone. Then you think, why not try a Rainbow with the new Gold one? Then you get Rainbows until all of your breeding apparatus is completely bogged down - unless you buy gems to free it up.

The folks at BFS are brilliant - there are no accidents. And as to the comment about whether it would be "right" to let you have ones but not another, of course it's not right. But I doubt they forbid you getting another. They're in charge of the odds and they just set at one chance out of a thousand or somesuch.

I'm sorry if the hard cold business reality ruins the game for some. I'm just trying to save folks from spending money with no hope of success. I'm not going to talk about it anymore..

Breed On!

I'm wondering, would it be legal for BFS to restrict each park to just 1 LYD without telling us? Somehow I cannot believe that it is.

BFS state the Leap Year Dragon is available until March 1, not a word about "you can only breed one, a second one will have to be purchased, then you can breed all you want". It would be VERY deceptive, based on past experience in this game, if this was the case. The urgency, which we all felt from the beginning since we expected LYD to be a temporary dragon, but which was made much worse with the announcement of when the window to obtain LYD would close, lead to gem purchases which no-one would have made if BFS was upfront with us (if indeed we can only breed one).

I hope that I'm wrong about this situation, but I do feel duped into spending all my gems and buying a few more with real money...and that's not right.

Well not to be paranoid, or add to the paranoia :p, but has anyone else read the description closely? "The Exceptionally rare Leap Year Dragon can only be seen in the wild once every four years near Bridget's Pass." One could argue that they are telling us one per player from the "wild". But maybe I'm over thinking it . . . .

Thank You Fetch, this has nothing to do with the competition.

I realise that. I'm just providing an explanation as to how he could have 4 LYD eggs in the hatchery.

And I think it's a bit unfair to post comments on a public forum aimed at a specific member and then ask them not to reply or explain.
