This is how it's made:
after the birth the marshal of the realm tell the prime minister and the rest of the rest of the government about the birth, then the rest of the people gets the news. The day after, some hotshots (prime minister etc) verify the baby hasn't been exchange, and signs the witness confirmations. The same day the King holds a cabinet meeting in the castle. And tells the names (I guess four), title, first name and Duke within interior.

Congrats on your new little princess! People here in the US usually think of the UK when they hear about royalty, they forget that there are quite a few monarchies still in Europe. I remember, even though I was tiny back then, when your King married your Queen. She had been a (his?) translator during the Munich Olympics. I always remembered that story and when I became a translator myself had high hopes for my future hubby. And what do you know, my own prince charming came along and whisked me off to the States where we've been living happily ever after. Thank you to Queen Silvia :)

I just got a message when opening DV about a fountain of youth, but can't find it. Did find some golden tiles. Anyone else get this message?

Never mind, found it. I was looking in the wrong place. Now I really need that extra Island. Mine are getting a bit crowded.

Ok you two (poppy and fletch ) thank u very much... I was trying to take my plant and fire to gold before I started on any other shrine... But it is very very flow going.... Should I just stop and get all mine to silver or is it really worth it to keep going to gold with fire and plant???? Your numbers are really killing me.. And the time it takes to get one to 15 is crazy... Help!!!!!

I would get all shrines or at least those related to panlong and concentrate on raising four shrines at once to gold. Just because although the breeding time is more you'll save on the amount of money you spend levelling up. They will also help you get there due to earning potential.
This topic is always going to come up as people have different outlooks and needs. It's really up to you.
I'm tempted to keep two lower level panlongs to breed as I grudge the time they take and the money lost while level 15 is in the cave.

Good point and I am not that far into the gold hunt right now that it would be crazy to stop and start fresh... They just take so long to breed...

Wasn't that the love when also mixed with fire?

I was just looking at the elements that we do not have together... Keeping mind off the new dragon... Like we get the leap year dragon... Most of the time we also get the secret dragon as well... What if it is a leper con dragon... Lighting and plant....

Makes me think that it is related to the Epic Breeding Island. Here are possible repercussions:

- it can only be bred there
Which doesn't make sense, seeing that many folks have got Rainbow, Moon, and Sun from the normal Cave.

- it is able to be bred there (as opposed to only ever coming from the normal Cave)
Which is possible. The only part that wouldn't make sense with this is that ALL the dragons can come from both, but you said that only the three rares have this as TRUE, which rules this out, too.

- it gains a chance bonus to be bred if it's bred there
Which makes sense if the EBI gives a bonus to be bred to Rainbow, Moon, and Sun if you're using it. It would mean that this dragon, in addition to the three rares, also receives the mysterious EBI chance bonus.

BFS is prolly upset that the code got out. Kinda takes some of the magic away. But my bet is on the third possibility. I would draw from this the conclusion or conjecture that the EBI gives a bonus to your chances when you're trying for a Rainbow, Sun, or Moon, and that the LYD also gains the benefit of this bonus if you use the EBI.

All I really care about, however, is that I finally got my Rainbow! Time to change my signature.

Or they simply use the word 'epic' because it is the current 'in' word, and it simply means super special.

I bet you're right about BFS not being happy about the code being leaked, and now I feel a bit bad for spreading it here. But you guys/gals have been so nice and helpful that I didn't even think of keeping the rumor quiet. It's epic news after all ;)

Well, we'll see soon if the hype is true. Good luck, everyone :)

For the dragons that can be leveled up beyond level 10, there is bound to be an optimal level to feed them to. The point where earnings are maximised according to the coin spent on food. And it must be different for each dragon based on it's earning potential. Surely there's some math geeks here that could work out the formula?

Good stuff, Fletch.

With the doubling formula that Backflip uses, we're chasing a curve with a slope that increases geometrically. It's fun, rewarding and productive at first. As you point out, leveling from 1-10 is worthwhile from a practical point of view. And as I point out, going from 10-15 has marginal productive value - its mainly an ego thing with the gold shrine, which is why I started calling it the shrine grind. As for 15-20, that appears to be a fools mission.

Taken as a whole, the model of never ending leveling up is akin to a dog chasing it's tail.

It doesn't matter how fast he goes, he will never catch it. Backflip needs to develop upgrades that keep the game interesting as opposed to being a fools mission. And, based on what they have done with the last two upgrades with the Hibernation Cave and Fountain of Youth, I think they're aware of that. I'd be surprised to see a platinum shrine - when you compound at 100% you reach infinity eventually.

As for me, this old dog has dropped out of the tail chasing part of DV. I'm having more fun - and I'm sleeping better. If I were to give advice to others (with two sons and two daughter-in-laws living nearby I've learned to be very cautious about giving unsolicited advice), I would recommend being content with level 10 and silver shrines.
