Those are bicyclists viewing a herd of 40 elk right in the middle of town. These elk spend a lot of time behind my house, on the 13th hole of the golf course. It's an amazing place. If you like an active, physical outdoor lifestyle this is Eden.

We have raccoons, coyotes, and skunks up here in the hills. That would be pretty cool to see that in the morning.

Yeah the difference is we have just two types of school. Primary, which is year Prep to 7 and Secondary which is years 8 to 12. The U.S. has 3 types split into 4 years each. That might be causing some of the confusion.

Not quite true either, usually middle school is only 2 or 3 years. Elementary 5 or 6 plus Kindergarten, HS 4. However, it is possible to finish all HS requirements in 9th or 10th grade, like my boys did. They then continue at the HS and take classes which are usually taught at college, still free though the tests at the end of the semester for those classes cost $95 each. Or they can continue taking regular, not AP (advanced placement) classes.

You know I just realised recently (when a friend moved to US) that the college you guys pay for is our ( in Australia) year 11 & 12 which is free unless you send your kids to a private school. I don't want to sound too critical but the US govt only funding education to yr 10 seems to me to be extremely elitist and a way of making sure that poor families stay ignorant. Move to Australia for 2 yrs and get your kids education for free - it'd probably be cheaper for you! How much does college cost?

It all depends if they go public state or public university or private. I am not sure about state, but I think its 6k per year, public university with tuition and room are budget at 30k, private are budget at 55k. It's not necessarily all elitist. I find the under privilege have a lot to help them get ahead if they tap into the different programs. I work for a non profit and amazed at all the opportunities available. For ex., I know of a student who lives in Compton, this summer he had an all expense paid leadership program in China for 12 days and if he gets the grades he is guarantee a placement at UC Berkeley. Not necessarily an academic schloraship, its has something to do with inner city kids. I have never heard of these programs for the middle class students. However if a family makes less than 60k, some private will provide full tuition and board.

Hey guys quick question if anybody knows... If let's say perhaps the panlong dragon gets taken off the market but you have two.. Does that mean you can keep breeding them or do they have o be on the market?

Yes, you can keep breeding them. Always a good idea to strive for the Noah's Ark model.

Hi there. As long as you have two dragons you can breed them whenever you like for another one

Geez I was reading through the posts I have missed then got to the next page and realised I was like 12 pages behind ,havnt had much time lately busy ,busy ,busy lol so I'm not going to read all those or I'll be here till tomorrow.......

So congrats to all those who have had rares or hard to get dragons they have been after commiseration's to the guys who are still trying and failing but keep going you will get them eventually !!!!

Now my son finally got his second panlong and I tried that wonderful combo that somebody mentioned of love and coldI can't remember who now but a mega thanks to you as I now have a 48 HR breed from it (hoping for a moon ) and while I was trying for the moon I got a second frostfire from it too yayyyyyy,hope everyone is good and I will try to keep up but I'm very busy at the moment as my mum is moving up to Scotland and I'm helping her pack up her whole life,and with 2 kids as well it's not going smoothly lmao x x x

Reasoning? This is the United States. We don't need no stinkin' reasoning!

Kindergarten - 6th Grade: Elementary School
7th Grade - 8th Grade: Middle School
9th Grade - 12th Grade: High School

There is some reasoning to the Middle School break-out. Kids that age in the U.S. have to be separated from the rest of the population as much as possible.
