Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

When his back gets better we may never have an update again.... ;)

Short Update....

Well, the back is healing wonderfully. I can walk normally now and I'm walking 2 miles a day. Before the surgery I was able to walk 2-3 blocks, painfully and hunched over. Now I stand erect and I'm 3/4" taller.

So I'm starting my re-entry into the Real World. I have a staff meeting in the office today. Hospital bed is moving out. I will probably participate less (I thought I heard a collective sigh of relief!), but I'll be around.

With all sincerity this group has been a life support system for me during this period that has had its share of difficulty and challenges. I wrapped myself in a cocoon and excluded just about everything else (I tend to be a bit autistic when faced with this kind of challenge). As I posted several weeks ago, this is the nicest, kindest online community that I've ever been part of. I love you guys.

Let's assume the "Clover Dragon" is the next one released for St Patrick's Day. It's bound to have Plant in it. But what other elements would be required? And/or what elements definitely won't be in it? And while we're speculating, what will be it's incubation time and it's base level 1 earnings?

My guess:

Plant/Earth/Water - Definitely no Cold
I'd like to see a 7 hour dragon (lucky 7, luck of the Irish?)
And starting coin at 14

Now you.

That's a perfect combination for St. Pat's Day. What would really help everyone would be if they came out with a dragon that contained the three elements that aren't in the Pan: Plant, Lightening & Cold. That would be huge boost to those seeking gold shrines. Not sure how you rationalize that combination though. Maybe the Mauna Loa dragon?

Am so glad you are improving. It must be great to be free from pain if you've had it for a long time. Big hugs. I haven't taken part in a forum before so this is a fantastic group for a forum virgin! Personally I look forward to the input we all have and get here and I'll look forward to your continuing posts when you have time.

I got a reply back from BFS today on the weird one name gem notification. They are hoping for a fix in the next update. Of course no hint of when that update may be. ;)

Oh no, no, no! What you heard was either a sigh of relief that you're feeling so much better, or a gasp at the prospects of losing you here. Back pain can be so debilitating, as it was clearly for you; and to hear that your surgery was a success is fabulous!

If you drift back into your regular life and don't have much time for us here...well, there's always Hawaii :)

Yay, although what else were they supposed to say, lol. Didn't mention the "and others" issue, did they?

It seems my gem tree is dead :( The gems are 2 hrs overdue, and I tried rebooting and all the good stuff.
I don't know that the tree/gem giving is programmed to be on an exact 24h cycle from when you last happened to give gems. Just the other day I gave gems out, and about our or five hours later the tree was full again and I gave six more out.
