The Dragon Daily
In this week’s interview, TDD has picked Vionne72, to share her dragon island management strategy. Below are the excerpts:
Commercial Center Island (also fondly known as Panlong Island)
This island is where the main GDP of the country is generated. It is also the favorite islands of the High Net-Worth Wizards (HNWW) as they invest heavily in the production of the Panlongs. The island is conveniently situated in the middle of the country, with easy access to the Colesseum, should they decide to hop over to view the current competition. There are only 3 deluxe villas located on this island so it is prime property location. The numerous pavilions on this island provides a wide range of services from spas, to souvenir shopping to salons to museums and theatre etc…
The villas on this island are also highly coveted by the HNWW as these villas are the only ones who are able to have viewing access to the Epic Breeding Island and see if a new rare is being breed there. There is only 1 restaurant exclusively catering to the inhabitants here as a 5-Star Michelin Wizard whips out different exotic dishes each day.
The HNWW wanted the CC Island to be completed inhabited by Panlongs but Vionne has adamantly refused as she does not want to encourage further greed. However, as a compromise, 2/3 of each Earth habitats are Panlongs.
The Blue Island
This island is completely occupied with Cold habitats, with a larger variety of dragons than the Panlong Island. The current favorite dragons in this island are the rarer Blue Fire; Frost Fire and Reindeer dragons, together with the dreamy Moon dragons.
The 5 Dragon Inns here can cater to a maximum of 250 Wizards at any one time. The 2 restaurants on the island serves mainly buffet to the inhabitants here as only breakfast is included by the inns.
The Sunny Island
This island is warm in more ways than one. Other than the Sun habitats and the Fire habitats that dominate this island landscape, the inhabitants who stay in this island are generally a happy lot. There are 6 units of the Thatched Cottage that caters to the economical travellers. The country’s witch doctor is also located on this island to serve to the wizards who are not rich enough to seek overseas medical attention. There are no restaurants on this island as the wizards tend to cook their own meals.
However, as you can see, this is the only place where the Love Dragons thrive as the inhabitants here are have the best disposition and are such a jolly bunch of good fellas. To avoid setting fire to the thatched roofs, the Fire and Scorch Dragons have moved to the opposite side of the island.
The Tropical Island
This island is where the rarest of the rare – the Rainbow dragon resides. The 4 Rainbow Dragons also guides the sacred Dragonzai Tree 24/7 and will not hesitate to blow you off the island if they even as much as sensed the intention of thievery of the precious gems.
The Air habitats and the Water habitats are also found here as it gives this island the precious elements needed for the Dragonzai Tree to produce gems every day.
There are no residential units here as this island sticks to a very strict opening hours. The sacred tree cannot handle too much noise from the visitors and therefore, is protected by a line of trees at the back and the magical flower boxes which, forms an additional invisible ring to keep the wizards at a safe distance.
The café bistro located at the far end is the only place for the visitors to rest their feet and enjoy their tea, while trying to catch a glimpse of both the Rainbow Dragons and the sacred tree.
The Air boost is also the country’s only cathedral and is placed here so that should any wizard harbor any thoughts of stealing the gems, they can immediately go to the church to confess and seek forgiveness.
The Colesseum Island
Daily dragon competitions are the draw of this island.
The Breeding Cave, Hatchery and Hibernating Cave are secluded from the rest with a line of trees that is impenetrable to any wizards. The only way into this area is via the 2 Ami’Lya Pond which forms a portal for the wizards to transport themselves over. However, the majority of the wizards has been unable to do so as they only face a wall at the bottom of the Pond. Only the very learned wizards who had studied extensively at the Dragon Library know the secret way in. This information cannot be told to another wizard as both wizards will then be banished from the Wizard World, never to be returned.
