my curls are growing inward and must have tickled my grey matter. Doh! It's quite interesting to put folks like us in a fish bowl and watch us interact. We do many things.
We are a Seuss-like character massing. We help and we play, we speak dragon all day. We all sound alike as we frantically say; where is that rainbow? Just out of our reaches! Running around like the star belly sneeches, forgetting the boundaries the world often preaches. We share and we laugh as a new dragon hatches, always retuning to friends who will catch us-
We are chronically silly, we're always a thinkin, we never giive up as we're tiredly blinkin.
I'm sure you all know that I've sat here too long and for now I should stop as I've finished my song.

I just redid my islands and I'm finally hitting 100+ visitors now. I think my plant habitats are my favorite. I made (or tried to) it look like the creatures are roaming in a forest somewhere. I set little personal goals for myself in this game and I achieved the have over a 100 visitor goal, so YAY me. My kids love playing and breeding random dragons to see what they will make.

I'm trying to ignore this, but my Don Quixote compex keeps rearing its ugly head. Why are obvious cheaters listed on leader boards? It's kind of discouraging for those of us who play honestly. It would be so easy to police. If someone has an unreasonably giant score but has never paid the game producer, it's pretty obvious that they cheated.

I've come to recognize a few things that many cheaters have in common:

0 Their parks aren't designed or populated.
They don't really care about the game, they just want to mindlessly amass points.

0 As their parks aren't populated, there are no visible signs of production.
The honest folks here who are striving for gold shrines have built, or are building, production.

0 Their coin and treat counts are huge.
Despite no evidence of production, they have somehow amassed massive numbers.

I'd like to run them out of Dodge. There's enough pond scum in this world without them having to pollute everything.

That would be great if we could do that... And I agree it is very wrong that they get to be posted and the people that really play and care about this game is lost in all the fake numbers

Thanks Tiffany! My colosseum island is probably one of the only one's that has not been touched in months. I did however have a empty sun spot there forever lol. Finally got it though and filled the void.

Thanks for the suggestions with the library! Great idea. I will remember that when I finally get around to fixing them up again. Yay! Level 30. Not so sure why I'm excited though. Will be awhile before I can afford that next island lol

Im about a quarter of the way to level 30. Think i will try for my gold shrines before i get my last island. I dont know what to do with it anyways

It was right around Christmas when we found out. So the holiday season really sucked... And the wait to have the surgery was harder. But they did it all with a laser and he was out of the hospital the next day!!!! Back to work in 5 weeks and has been fine... Sometimes we both forget about it. It just happened so fast and went really smooth.... Glad for that...

Oh no That's awful at christmas time im so glad it was that quick for him though that's amazing , my auntie was recovering for a long time she had an awful lot removed from inside so was a long healing time she's still not right even now after 7 months x x x

Got to agree with all that. When I started to play and was looking for info there were links to bypass the restrictions on several sites.
It's good to have the friendship of the people on here because it helps keep spirits and determination up as we struggle through desperate times trying to get the elusive dragons.
We're all in the same struggle here.

So I find out last night that I am getting an IPad (When the new one comes out)... But let me tell you the story... My hubby works nights so 5 days a week I can wake up at 1:00 to collect coins and not have to worry about anyone being bothered. But last night he was home. So at 1:00 my phone rings (like normal). I grab really quick and run into the bathroom. So there I am sitting on the bathroom floor and in he walks: (Now he knows I play "this" game but he does not know how much) I quickly shut the phone off get up and walk back to bed (I look like a kid that just got caught with there hand in the candy jar). He grabs my phone and starts looking at the last calls I have made (Keep in mine he is a cop). Hands me back the phone a says "who were you talking to that you had to get up in the middle of the night and run to the bathroom?" I said no one... And that starts the next part (1:00am) ok who are you having an affair with? (in total shock right now) you are all the time running out of rooms witht that phone in hand, everytime I walk in you turn it off, what is going on? (Now a little history to better understand this, My hubby has prostate cancer, in March it was all removed and he is cancer free) I am feeling really guilty right now show him just what I have been doing all the time. In tears he says, "I know you played but I never know that you had made a world this cool... I thought you were having an affair, but know I know it is with a bunch of cool looking dragons and a forum with which you get to talk about it. (Big hug now) Is that why you have been asking for an I Pad? Yes. Ok then when the news one come out I will get you one. But, (Ok here it comes) Can you show me how to play this when I buy 2? Ok now I know why I live my hubby... He is just the greatest...

OMFG. I'm not sure how to respond. I guess, congrats to you both for finding each other.

I've made heaps of friends here just to sticky-beak at their Islands. My wife, my two oldest daughters and their two boyfriends play, so I already have 5 people I exchange gems with every day. That just leaves 1 to exchange with a friend, and I couldn't handle having a list 53 days long of people I need to pay gems back to. lol

Some Advice Re Lightening & Plant Gold Shrines

As I have mentioned here before, when I first started on my Lightening gold shrine I made the decision to level up using Lightening as opposed to using Loves, which contain Lightening plus Plant habitats. That was the right decision at the time as my site was hyper-productive, having robbed habitats from Nursery Island. Plus I wasn't sleeping well in this post-op mode so I could collect coins constantly.

When I reached 35/50 things changed. I decided to restore my Nursery Island which reduced my productivity. And I started sleeping at night. At that point I switched to Loves. Now I kind of wish I had done it sooner. It takes more to breed Loves, but I let that happen overnight. The double credit has a lot of value as most of the work and resources go into the leveling up.

If I had it to do over again, I would use Loves from the beginning. And I think folks with normal lives are much better served with the Loves.
