Hi all. I've been reading this forum for months and you've all been amazingly helpful!! But I've decided that I can't go on being a loner because I need gems to get my EBI and it's sooo expensive trying to level up my dragons!! So if you're wondering about my friend request - it's from me!
I've just got my first moon in the hatchery and I'm excited (but I was trying for a sun )

Welcome to the forum and addiction! Glad you finally joined us! :thumbs: Congrats on your moon! It's hard I know because sun and moon combos are the same. I think they did that on purpose! Lol

So I find out last night that I am getting an IPad (When the new one comes out)... But let me tell you the story... My hubby works nights so 5 days a week I can wake up at 1:00 to collect coins and not have to worry about anyone being bothered. But last night he was home. So at 1:00 my phone rings (like normal). I grab really quick and run into the bathroom. So there I am sitting on the bathroom floor and in he walks: (Now he knows I play "this" game but he does not know how much) I quickly shut the phone off get up and walk back to bed (I look like a kid that just got caught with there hand in the candy jar). He grabs my phone and starts looking at the last calls I have made (Keep in mine he is a cop). Hands me back the phone a says "who were you talking to that you had to get up in the middle of the night and run to the bathroom?" I said no one... And that starts the next part (1:00am) ok who are you having an affair with? (in total shock right now) you are all the time running out of rooms witht that phone in hand, everytime I walk in you turn it off, what is going on? (Now a little history to better understand this, My hubby has prostate cancer, in March it was all removed and he is cancer free) I am feeling really guilty right now show him just what I have been doing all the time. In tears he says, "I know you played but I never know that you had made a world this cool... I thought you were having an affair, but know I know it is with a bunch of cool looking dragons and a forum with which you get to talk about it. (Big hug now) Is that why you have been asking for an I Pad? Yes. Ok then when the news one come out I will get you one. But, (Ok here it comes) Can you show me how to play this when I buy 2? Ok now I know why I live my hubby... He is just the greatest...

Just hit 30mil... 20 to go... It feels weird not buying food all the time I never thought I would have this much gold... Now I really see just how much food it takes for them little dragons...

Hi everyone
LONG time no post I know.
I truly hope you are all well and happy, in real life AND in DragonVale!

Finally had a bit of spare time and motivation so I thought I'd pop in to reassure everyone I havent dropped of the planet or anything - I have just been a bit busy and, admittedly, a bit lazy too.

Thankfully I have had some really good luck since I posted last and thus am very happy to report I finally have at least two of every rare/hard-to-get dragon!! *squee* Of course the last one to finally arrive was my second Moon but that was kind of expected after how long it took to get the first. Finally got it with Scorch x Snow in the EBI after only the 4th try this time with that combo (had tried that combo many time before with no luck at all though). Bluefire also put up one heck of a fight but I finally got that one with Ice x Fire after MANY failed breeds (mostly 8 hours ones). I swapped the order after a failed overnight breed and got it.

In fact, my Moon was also the first try (no order swap though) after a failed overnight breed too - maybe that's significant...or not, you can never be sure with this game, haha.

Hopefully I have managed to successfully update my signature (I keep thinking I've missed something but I am also struggling to fit it all within the character limit) to reflect all my recent successes and then that info can help someone else :thumbs:

In other news I have created a second account! Ack crazy right?!
Haha, it is mostly so I can have lots of babies bouncing around with no space issues
I was getting frustrated, on my main account, with the fact that even when I eventually (taking ages to get to level 30) buy my 'last' (max available for now) island I still won't really be able to fit a baby island - I just won't have the habitats/space unless I get rid of some adults, which I don't really want to do. Ideally, one day, I'd like to have a nursery/baby island on my main account too (I think it would kid of complete it) but this makes me happy for now.
I won't be sharing the ID here (not that it's hard to find, heh) unless someone is really interested and asks me directly (PM) but I am "warning" you now - I DO NOT want gems sent there at all. Thanks

In fact, I have even stopped accepting random friends requests on my main account now because my gem list was getting more and more out of control. I'll only accept people I know from here (or otherwise) and that I am sure won't send extra gems. I mean, I TRULY appreciate all the gems I get now (and still return them all as soon as I can!) but my gem list is so long that my existing friends are already waiting way too long for returns. Then again, my gems received has inexplicably slowed down the last few days which is both nice and slightly scary after it being so full on for so long, hehe. I have plenty of gems for now though, so I know I'm very lucky and am also very thankful to all my friends.

Hey guys in looking for ways to make bluefire and frostfire... I think I've tried as many ways that I could think of and havent gotten crap!!! Suggestions?

My first blue fire came from fire/ice. The rest came from trying for rainbow ages ago with blue fire/crystal.

My frostfires came from cold/blazing and cold/firefly. Here is a list 250strong compiled and it is updated regularly. :thumbs:

Yup.... When I was feeding those little bottomless pit I had to collect food all the time so I had my phone set up to rings every couple of hrs collect food and coins then go right back to sleep... I know addicted...

And that is what he was seeing my phone rings and I would run out of the room take care of them and come back... He thought all this time that it was another guy....lol
