You are quite welcome Vicky I used to have a baby of each dragon paired with an adult. That was before the major update and before shrines. I sacrificed my babys to be leveled up for my silver shrines.

A baby island would awesome! Even if it was just the size of the EBI with a bit of each element on it. Hopefully BFS is litening

Tiffany, I am in AWE of you. That was one hefty feat on the iPhone and therefore very much appreciated. And yes, knowing your OCD, I'd figured which islands you would prefer I think my other two have succumbed to greed over design although I still like my 'golden' island but will redo it once I have my $100 mil island so I can move things around. Thanks again babe, outstanding effort

I saw the large and small habitat mix at a Random visit and loved the look of it. I could earn more and have more room for babies and the like with all large habitats, but the look is more important to me.

Unique is hard to pull off, and I'm not sure my cold island fits that category, but I was trying to do something as different as I could.

The Collosseum Island does need something. I moved my shrines there recently, and haven't quite got it to a point that I'm happy with. Flags are a good idea. I'll definitely be tweaking it, and it will have a new display of panlongs after the 14th.

Fire Island is too busy. When I first put them in I was super keen to have a path around both sides of all habitats so visitors could have lots of different vantage points. This sort of necessitated keeping them in a bit from the edge. Seeing other peoples Islands, you can see how well it can work with little or even no paths at all. I have a couple of ideas of evening things out when I get my next Island and can move my rare's to it. Level 25 can't be too far away, can it? lol

And I'm not sure about the portal layout. Happy to give her the credit, though.

More sophisticated visitors, and more well do to, prefer to stay here. Rates are much higher than accommodations on the Colesseum Island which does get it's share of hooligans and can get rowdy at times. Things here are quiet and relaxing.

LONG time no post I know.
I truly hope you are all well and happy, in real life AND in DragonVale!

Finally had a bit of spare time and motivation so I thought I'd pop in to reassure everyone I havent dropped of the planet or anything - I have just been a bit busy and, admittedly, a bit lazy too.

Thankfully I have had some really good luck since I posted last and thus am very happy to report I finally have at least two of every rare/hard-to-get dragon!! *squee* Of course the last one to finally arrive was my second Moon but that was kind of expected after how long it took to get the first. Finally got it with Scorch x Snow in the EBI after only the 4th try this time with that combo (had tried that combo many time before with no luck at all though). Bluefire also put up one heck of a fight but I finally got that one with Ice x Fire after MANY failed breeds (mostly 8 hours ones). I swapped the order after a failed overnight breed and got it.

In fact, my Moon was also the first try (no order swap though) after a failed overnight breed too - maybe that's significant...or not, you can never be sure with this game, haha.

Hopefully I have managed to successfully update my signature (I keep thinking I've missed something but I am also struggling to fit it all within the character limit) to reflect all my recent successes and then that info can help someone else :thumbs:

In other news I have created a second account! Ack crazy right?!
Haha, it is mostly so I can have lots of babies bouncing around with no space issues
I was getting frustrated, on my main account, with the fact that even when I eventually (taking ages to get to level 30) buy my 'last' (max available for now) island I still won't really be able to fit a baby island - I just won't have the habitats/space unless I get rid of some adults, which I don't really want to do. Ideally, one day, I'd like to have a nursery/baby island on my main account too (I think it would kid of complete it) but this makes me happy for now.
I won't be sharing the ID here (not that it's hard to find, heh) unless someone is really interested and asks me directly (PM) but I am "warning" you now - I DO NOT want gems sent there at all. Thanks

In fact, I have even stopped accepting random friends requests on my main account now because my gem list was getting more and more out of control. I'll only accept people I know from here (or otherwise) and that I am sure won't send extra gems. I mean, I TRULY appreciate all the gems I get now (and still return them all as soon as I can!) but my gem list is so long that my existing friends are already waiting way too long for returns. Then again, my gems received has inexplicably slowed down the last few days which is both nice and slightly scary after it being so full on for so long, hehe. I have plenty of gems for now though, so I know I'm very lucky and am also very thankful to all my friends.

Uh, so I'm going to be weird(-er than usual?!) and 'reply to myself' here, haha.
I read that first bit back after posting and kind of had to chuckle to myself about my word choice "dropped off the planet" because while I have been absent here I have also been getting even further obsessed with Doctor Who (David Tennant's 10th Doctor especially!!! *drool*) and if you know anything about Doctor Who that seemed rather appropriate, haha

And the second part I just wanted to clarify that I will be happy to gem swap with any new friends too but I need to know them to be sure they agree to only return 'one for one' so my list doesn't spin out of control any further (some of my current friends gift me quite often even though I can't return the first one for ages, let alone the rest) - hopefully that makes sense?!
