I have a few friends who I can trade back and forth with on a regular basis, but many who do not send back anything.

I have a lot of friends who either never traded gems with me or stopped playing. I keep them around, except for the obvious cheaters -don't need to see their outrageous numbers and get depressed - because of the party hats. I love visiting the players who stopped playing a long time ago because it is so much faster to find the hats on their islands.

It all depends... I have a list that I go off of first come first out... Mine is about 10 days long. But I have people on that list that send me gems almost everyday and I send them back as well. Some people have lists that r weeks long. Pretty much everyone on here will return your gem some just may take a little longer than most.... But there names are on my list like 6x's so when the name comes up I send it out!!!!

This can be a problem. I'm determined to reciprocate, but the good folks here have been so generous sending me gems (Thank You!) that I'm waaay behind. And I get further behind. One thought I had would be for BFS to offer some kind of GIANT gem tree for an exorbitant price. They'd sell a lot of to folks like me wh feel guilty.

Good question, I have two who are very consistent and others may take longer than expected. We recently been exchanging, I am mybuster2go. I keep them as friends as I am able to generated gold coins when I visit their islands. I think Poppy mention he able to generate few mils when he visiting. That could buy a lot of food. My practice I only exchange when I receive a gift, beside the two who daily send me a gift and appreciate it. Some people receive more gems and have a long list. My list is two for now and possibly three with you.

About the chit chat: this has always been a source for a great laugh, a lot of support, a place for a pick me up, a great place to vent!! Everyone on here is going thru the same things. You kind of build a bond with each other. If help is need you get it! But it is also nice between all that breeding, collecting, feeding, ect to get to know each other better. And sense most of us are so very addicted to this game and spend alot of time on here a great place to share our day to day lives. Or just talk about anything.
So to the people that do not care for the "chit chat" do not participate!!! Ask your question get your answer!!!

Well said Tricia! I think people expect to get on here and just have the answer they want right there in front of them. If they ask, they will get the answer. And because there are people on here from all over the world, there is usually someone on here to answer straight away

I love my DV family. Its great to talk to people who understand ur excitement and ur disappointment. My hubby thinks DV is lame ans no one else i know (in person) plays it. So its nice to have somewhere to come where everyone is the same... A DV addict

Party hats are area where I'm genuinely frustrated. I really enjoy visiting the sites and retrieving them. But it's very, very frustrating - because my friends list is constantly juggled. There's just no way to remember who I have visited in the last 24 hours. With a high number of friends it's the worlds hardest concentration game.

I don't know if this is deliberate on the part of BFS in order to discourage the practice - that seems a little Machiavellian. It's probably just something they've over looked. I can't leave my game in cache all the time because I go back and forth all the time between my iPad and iPhone. But then when I reload: Friend Jumble. Ack!!

Count me in. I like the atmosphere here. Well most of the time! I really don't get bad manners. There's no need. I enjoy the chit chat and if I have a question it gets answered

I agree. There is someone always on here willing to answer any question and help out when needed. That is what makes this so great. Mine feels the same way. And I am very glad that I have been about to join in with such a great group of people. You guys are the only people I know that plays this game. I think I look forward to being on here more than the game its self. So please do not take what I said wrong. i just wish people would stop the bashing and have fun with it. You can findout so much by just reading. And if you do not have the time and need help just ask... There is some great advise on here.
