Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Will do as soon as I see the egg. Have been saving gems for ages and have finally got myself a gem tree so can return all those gems faster and reduce my return list

Sounds good! Congrats on getting your gem tree! Uh huh, you think it will reduce your list but in turn you will get more! Lol.

That will probably happen with me as well.

I got some great news today. I had my first post-op appointment since the spinal fusion surgery five weeks ago. I think many on this list know that I have been mostly bed bound since the surgery. But I did start walking a couple of weeks ago - in my house! I used a pedometer and I found one route where 30 laps is exactly equal to one mile. I started slowly but now I'm doing 1-2 miles a day at a 3mph pace. It's odd, but even though it's boring of course, it just feels great to move.

It's standard to begin physical therapy three months after the surgery. Here I am at five weeks thinking it's going to be seven more before I can get started. The good news is that my doctor, who should be High Priest at Lourdes with the great result he's created for me, said that I was doing so well that I can start PT in three weeks! Wahoo!

Im happy to hear that! PT will help a lot, you just don't want to strain yourself. So u might want to take it slow.

Wonderful to hear! Take it slow even though ...

Sorry, misunderstood. You can breed fire and water for air and then just feed them to level 4 to breed. Not really worth wasting anymore food than that seeing as the are only one element.

I used to breed 2 air in one cave and the water and fire in the other. Save having to have 4 airs :)

Oh geez. Well the sandstorm was made with air. I got mine same as most are right now. Level 10 air on left and level 4 mud on right. Hope you get it soon!

Thanks Shelley. That must have been what I did wrong. I'll have to switch them over.

Hey Fletch...

I see you're online and I'm seeking advice. The two gold shrines I have left are Plant and Lightening. At first glance it appears that the new Love doll is perfect as it contains both elements - but there are alternatives that are tempting. As you know, the love doll is 5/5 and sells for $100K. I was thinking it might be easier to do them individually though. The Plant costs $50 and hatches in 15 seconds - pretty easy breeding. Of course it has no resale value. And the Lightening can be bought for $75K and hatches in 30 minutes. And actually sells for $37,500.

I realize there's more work in leveling them than breeding them, but cash flow is not a problem with my little coin factory churning away. But I find the breeding to a nuisance. What's your recommendation? Also love to hear from anyone else.

Thanks,
Poppy

Sorry for the delay, sir. Computers always on and this forum is always open, so it might show I'm here when I'm not.

Interesting question ...

You're not selling them till you're finished, so there's no real advantage to either option with regards to getting rid of them because at that point all dragons are leveled up and money/food is not going to be an issue.

You can breed lightning and plant super fast, so it's just a matter of getting food supply to them. Of the top of my head I think the question is simply a matter of can you make enough food to level up 2 dragons to level 15 in less than 5 hours. If so, then it will be quicker to breed the 2 of them separately. If not, then it will be quicker to breed the love dragon and level up for 2 shrines at once.

Tremendous news, sir. Glad you're speedily on the road to recovery.

Have been meaning to ask, was surgery a result of car racing?

It's is a lightening an cold dragon to make a water it's all a case of luck maybe try maturing them more or maybe when choosing the dragons to breed put the lightening on the right and the cold on the left that may work
