Poppy's Nursery Island is Back

I couldn't stand it. Those stinkin' Earth gold shrines are just going have to take a little longer. The Nursery isn't perfect because I've parked level 4 Airs and Sandstorms there for breeding purposes. That did give me room to deploy one more Rainbow than I had before.

My Colesseum Island sure looks better without the SWARM of Rainbows!

Just going to have to wake up every hour or two until I get that shrine. You're thinking, "Poppy really needs a life". Well, confined to this bed I can think of only three activities: DV, TV or reading. I'm not much for TV and I'm sure I would go mad watching much. I am an avid reader of non-fiction, but that's way too real world for me right now. So it comes down to DV.

Of course there are the grand kids but old bed bound Poppy isn't much fun right now.

Need habitats!!!!!!

That's good to know I'm still working on my shrines so I can't raise it any bigger than level ten at the moment.

Mine are level 15 they are still quite small

Yes it would seem so I also read books but haven't really had much time lately with dv I like horror ,crime,ancient Egyptian fiction and young adult stuff but I'll read anything if ive got nothing else lol x x x

Lol! I wish we could trade all the dragons we don't need, it would be a great way to give our dragons a good home and help save alot of time with repetition of the same dragons we already have!

I usually run DV on my iPad 1 (16Gb). Once in a while I run it on my iPhone 4S (32Gb). I'm always surprised at how much better the performance is on the iPhone. Of course the display on the iPhone is simply incredible, but there are other differences. DV loads much faster on the iPhone, especially when you exit it for another app and return.

So I have a question...

How does DV run on an iPad 2? I know the display isn't as good as the iPhone, but how about loading times and caching? I've been thinking of getting an iPad 2, but my son who is an Apple freak advises to wait for the iPad 3, rumored to come out next month. Your thoughts?

I started playing dragonvale on ipad1 and it was very slow, I received an ipad2 for Christmas and I think the graphics are much better and the load time is much faster. If I were you, just my thoughts, I would probably wait until next month for the ipad3 and see what they are going to offer as options.

What is the best combo to get sandstorm

Tree/Air worked for me. They can be tough to get though. I'm sure you will hear from others who have success with other combinations.

Yep. First love in the hatchery. Repeated that combo and got another 3 hour though. Will have to try something else for my second.

I know they just can't listen he wants us to have a second blue fire and frost fire so keeps putting those in I'm more concerned about the shrines at the moment I don't want to be left behind if we get yet another update on them lol it's already gonna take forever x x x
