We've discussed lately some of the ways to keep track of who you owe gems to. One particular problem I have is that I use two different devices - my iPad during the day and my iPhone in the middle of the night. During the day I just wrote them down in a notebook. However, that isn't possible in the dark in the middle of the night with my wife sleeping in the same room.
But I've come up with a solution that works very well for me. When I receive notice of a gem received I exit DV and open Notepad and enter the name there. As I sync up the two devices using iCloud (cool technology) the lists are always up to date on both devices.

I've been doing that for a while too. It's pretty convenient, though it's frustrating too because of autocorrection. When I return someone a gem I don't just delete the name but put the @ behind their name so I can keep a record. Every few days I email the list to myself and then I delete a few days worth of names from the top.
