Whew! I didn't realize how many gold coins I was spending to buy food to level up the little buggers to 15 to qualify for gold shrines. I spent it as fast as it came in, so I had no perspective on the production level.

It's prodigious. At about this time yesterday I decided I wanted the sixth island available at level 30 for $100M. That figure seemed unobtainable. Now, 24 hours later, I'm just under $70M. That's a little more than is sustainable because I got revenues from selling a few dragons in the HC that I had triplicates of. But the 21 Level 15 Pan baddies and the 8 Frostfires and Bluefires just SPEW gold coins. It's an avalanche. One advantage I have in my situation is that it's easy to pick them off frequently before the maximums are reached and production stops.

Another HUGE coin generator is the one hour cycle of breeding and selling Airs and Sandstorms at $500K each that i described in detail in a recent post. It requires minimal gems and can be run somewhere between $1.99 - $4.99 a day. One of the fastest and most cost-effective ways to accelerate things in DV.

Anyway, I should have the island in a couple more days. It'll be hard parting with the coins - but I know there's more where that came from.

How ???? Food food food that is all I do.. I can not seem to grow it fast enough... Just trying to lv up one dragon is killing me I do not know how in the world I am going to do it for 49 more just for one shrine. Right now I am working on getting my pans to 15... 4 elements at one time. Killing me

You have to quit the food growing for a while I stated saving before I got to 25 but I found it was slower to level up as your not earning much xp only from the colosseum so I spent it on food then to get me to 25, then started saving again as soon I hit 25 it only took about 5 days breed a few air hybrids for cash while you are Saving they help .... A bit good luck !!!!! It's hard not to spend it lol x x x

Yeh, I know the feeling. I'm glad I got mine before I started working on the gold. Now I need to think about that 100 million though! Ugh!

Ugggh yeah dreading that one got a fair way to go yet tho I'm only on level 25 close to 26 it's gonna take forever to get to 30 and have all goldies x

Is there a huge xp on 5 million food because I worked it out and for 500,000 you get the food in a minute so price per unit is the same with no waiting you can get your 100k in a much quicker time

I read in the "Dragon Daily" that there have been numerous reports of dragonnappers and eggnappers of late. It has something to do with visitors to the islands from Australia I understand. (Fletch, have you heard about this?).

Hearing the news I thought it only prudent to mount security measures. The entrances to my Nursery Island and Breeding Island are now secure and visitors are required to check in. Special attention is warranted for those with Australian passports. Security measures aren't required at the Chinese Gold Coin Factory because the Pans can take care of themselves. And they aren't required at the Village Island because it's so ugly no one visits there.

You can check out the new security measures at ID:birdmaestro. When you visit, zoom in and watch how the traffic is forced to flow at the secure entrances. The Bird runs a tight ship.

Just thought you might want to know.
