So at the end of last year my wife tells me about DragonVale. I ask how you win. She tells me it's not that sort of game and explains it to me. I tell her I don't really have time for it. She tells me just to download the app and ship her a gem every day ... I wouldn't even have to play. 24 hours later I'm hopelessly addicted.

We all made a rule that we had to earn everything in the game rather than spend money to get things the easy way, but we made an exception to buy enough gems for the Breeding Island, because we really enjoyed the game and figured we should give something back to the company.

Just posting here to say hello and introduce myself. My Dragonvale experience is summed up in my signature. Started keeping track of my breeding combinations from Jan 16th. 92 so far.

I have seen some posts about great island layouts. Would love to check some out. And would appreciate any feedback on my layout.

Thanks for all the informative posts. I have not read the entire thread, but will try and keep up with new posts from this point on.

I am impress with you already Fletch_smf. I started a in the beginning of this month and I asked my husband to join so we may enxchange gems. To this day he had not. However, he does make an effort to collect gold when I am in the shower or feed the dragons and appears to be interested in my updates. Welcome to the forum. Everyone here is extremely kind and supportive.

Just for kicks I put the panlong dragon level 13 and the bone dragon also level 13 in the regular breeding cave and received a 48 hour breed time anyone have any ideas on what it might be? I haven't read where anyone else has used this combo, so I'm just curious as to what it could be

Well, that didn't work! I used 1 gem to speed it up and threw them back in to get another 8 hr fog! Ugh! Put em' back in this morning for another 8 hrs. Geez...not quite sure if mud/blazing blazing/mud is my ticket combo or not. Another 30 min and that 48 hrs should be finished. Think I may fill my cold habitat with something before trying again...not sure yet though. Haven't completely made that decision yet.

Finally!!!! After all that waiting and lavas, I just put a scorch and ice in my breeding cave (not ebi) and got 48 hours! Woohoo! Finally!

I've just successfully breeded two panlong and 1 frost fire

I am guessing that suns, moons, panlongs, etc are mothers to get. I have been trying to breed the first two for sometime now and pan about a week been using dragonvale wikia. It said to use mud with blazing or Fog with Lava or bone, well needless to say been using fog and lava/lava with fog. Now where does these elements come up with a mud??? Can someone tell me THE SUPER DE DUPER combinations for suns, moons, and panlongs please?

You got that right! They are not easy at all. Well...lava has earth in it so there is the way you can get mud, and earth is one of the 4 elements used to get a Panlong. We have seen a lot of crazy combo's put out random dragons. I only have so much time this morning so you can look back through my posts...I have posted good sized lists with combos for these rare dragons. When someone reports a combo I don't have written down I try to add it to the list, but I do miss some of them. If you can't find them let me know and when I have more time I will post them again for you. :thumbs: Really I don't think there is a super combo. It's so hard to keep up with the thread. But I decided to update u guys in my endeavors of getting the moon, frostfire and the 4 element dragon ( name just slipped my mind).
I'm glad to inform you guys that I finally got my moon dragon an this morning I got my 36 hrs breeding time. The only one I'm missing is frostbite.

The shut up and stop complaining was me. I am very very sorry! I was just in a huge state of frustration, and people complaining about suns, moons, and rainbows was just getting on my nerves. I apologize for that, and please don't kick me off the forum!

Thank you so much and I know I was a little harsh when I replied. I know it's frustrating...I was there as well. I am very sorry too. Like I said earlier I'm happy you got a 48 hrs and I had NOT seen this post when I commented to you. Also the post I put up yesterday with tips for those trying to get rares was mainly for you. I feel really bad when someone is trying so hard and does not get the rares they want. Anyways truce? It's a big DV family we have here and it's awesome that it keeps growing! :thumbs:

I think we all started as just readers but once you start talking it great isn't it ? Like a little ( or large actually) DV family and I love it I don't think I would have gotten as involved with the game as much as I have without this thread ( was originally my ten yr olds game ) but the enthusiasm on here really got me going and the combos helped me so much and all the friendliness and support has stopped me giving up in times of despair haha............ Speaking of despair GRRRRRRR to panlong because he really does not want to be my friend lol x x x
