The shut up and stop complaining was me. I am very very sorry! I was just in a huge state of frustration, and people complaining about suns, moons, and rainbows was just getting on my nerves. I apologize for that, and please don't kick me off the forum!

Welcome to DV Addiction land. Hang in there with the rares. My first rare (Sun) - took me 4 months of persistence. After that, they just start popping out once every couple of weeks

Moon is the hardest for me. Took me another 6 wks after the first Sun, and after 7 suns and 3 rainbows. You can imagine the feeling of waiting for the 48 breeding to be over, only to be crushed by having another similar rare. U'll get to share the same feeling with the rest of us soon as most of us here have difficulties with at least one of the rares

I forgot to add that I got 2 moons from reindeer and storm as well. Moons just love me lol. For Bluefire I used fire and storm. I also got one from fire and reindeer.

Moons also love me! And I cannot get any suns. I will keep trying. But the good news is only 7 hours to seeing my panlong egg then another 36 hours till it hatches - woo hoo. Gives me something to look forward to during this endless rain here in Brisbane at the moment. Can't really do much outside.

It's so hard to keep up with the thread. But I decided to update u guys in my endeavors of getting the moon, frostfire and the 4 element dragon ( name just slipped my mind).
I'm glad to inform you guys that I finally got my moon dragon an this morning I got my 36 hrs breeding time. The only one I'm missing is frostbite.

Btw the 4 element dragon is called the Panlong. It's a mythical Chinese dragon associated with water (hence it's description).

They are really spectacular and colourful and would look really neat together.

So at the end of last year my wife tells me about DragonVale. I ask how you win. She tells me it's not that sort of game and explains it to me. I tell her I don't really have time for it. She tells me just to download the app and ship her a gem every day ... I wouldn't even have to play. 24 hours later I'm hopelessly addicted.

We all made a rule that we had to earn everything in the game rather than spend money to get things the easy way, but we made an exception to buy enough gems for the Breeding Island, because we really enjoyed the game and figured we should give something back to the company.

Just posting here to say hello and introduce myself. My Dragonvale experience is summed up in my signature. Started keeping track of my breeding combinations from Jan 16th. 92 so far.

I have seen some posts about great island layouts. Would love to check some out. And would appreciate any feedback on my layout.

Thanks for all the informative posts. I have not read the entire thread, but will try and keep up with new posts from this point on.

Just for kicks I put the panlong dragon level 13 and the bone dragon also level 13 in the regular breeding cave and received a 48 hour breed time anyone have any ideas on what it might be? I haven't read where anyone else has used this combo, so I'm just curious as to what it could be

There's no lightning element, so from what I understand it can't be Sun or Moon. The only other 48 hour is Rainbow, so congratulations.

Why thank you and welcome to the forum. I will know what the mystery breed is in about 40 hours, I will keep you guys posted. My best guess would also be a rainbow, which I haven't had for a while, as I have been trying for all of the newer dragons

I type on an iphone and i short hand evrything!! i have more then 100 friends but dont gift them all. I like to view other ppls islands and also collect the party hats over 10,000dc per island visited. Its worth it
