Well if they make a dragon in the next update to have lightning cold and plant then it should make it easier to get a rainbow since rainbow uses all 7 elements which in that case panlong and the other dragon would make all 7 elements hopefully thats how it turns out bc some ppl like me still need a rainbow dragon.

I'm with you on that one. My friends cousin got rainbow and she's lvl 16 (not sure what combo she used) no epic island either. I finally got panlong and all failed attempts with sun, moon, rainbow, frost fire, and sandstorm

36 hr breed for panlong and I got mine wit bone+fog first try

You have to start over breeding the 50 level 10 dragons needed to qualify for silver shrines. The same thing happened with the upgrade that offered gold shrines for 50 level 15 dragons. The level 15 dragons you already had didn't count and you had to start over.

I think it's a bad call by Backflip Studios, the developer of the game. They're understandably trying to get players to spend money to accelerate the process, but this demotivating According to my calculations, it would take five years to get to gold shrines and level 20 dragons if you didn't spend any cash. Too bad - its a great game.

I'm afraid that they are going to lose a lot of players, mostly their avid base. My grandson (who introduced me to the game - I'm Poppy) and my son, both level 25's, have lost interest. I'm still playing, but it does seem futile to work on Gold shrines. Probably going to try for level 30 and call it good and wait for new dragons.

Just sped up a lava to get my level 12 blazing/ level 12 mud to end up with a 48hrs! Ugh! Sped it up and it was a rainbow! Back to being patient with another lava in the process...and what do we get for that 10 hrs...something like 5,000.

We need another breeding island... Two is just not enough

I know, you would think with EBI you could breed multiple combos at the same. Or a feature to speed up the process without gems. For the number of gems required, you would think there would be a special feature, besides the tree.

That's good hope you get the rest of the rares your after I'm still after a second rainbow and moon and this new one which is giving me trouble the panlong I hate lavas an that's mostly what I'm getting oh well keep on trying x

Wow, I've been trying like mad to get an ultra rare dragon. Been trying every suggested combo:
Seaweed/firefly, Snow/scorch, Blue fire and blazing/Crystal, Sonic/storm, and so on...

Now I'm level 22 and been frustrated with no results from the above combos.
So, I decided to just give it a break for a while and try for a Frost Fire!

Last night I put a Cold and Firefly in the regular cave - and guess what?! 48 hours!!! *Eek*

Can't imagine what it could be...? Any ideas...?

Well ive had plenty of failed attempts with moon rainbow and sandstorm but after awhile sun came easily as i breed 6 nd kept 5. But i had crystal left nd iceberg right in there now nd got 48hr so i wont no until it gets out of the cave in 17hrs hoping moon or sun thinking it will more and likely be a moon tho if u send trade gems u can add me nd look at my islands.

Haha yeah I mean te Panlong. It's odd that every new dragon release is EXTREMELY easy for me lmao. The only thing I'm having difficulties with is breeding another frost fire. That's the only thing I've ever had trouble with lmao. I figure since it has all 4 elements, it should fit in all 4 habitats, so I'm going to try earth since it holds the most.

So guess what. I was having trouble getting my second frostfire. First try after speeding up my panlongs, frostfire is in my hatchery. Had 14 gems left and when I saw 12 hours I HAD to speed it up lmao. Totally worth it.

Congratulations!!!! Geez can you throw some of your luck my ways all I'm pulling in is crappy lavas!!

My 48 hr was a moon i guess what they about nite time means moon, daytime means sun is true! Lol

I'm not sure people have said they have had them in reverse but I will admit all of mine where suns from daytime breeds and the only moon I've ever had was bred at night so I think it does make a difference sometimes x congrats on your moon they are gorgeous !

Well, the good news is that I've made it to level 29. And I had an odd thing happen - I tried for the new dragon with the Blazing/Mud and got a Blazing for $1M, a Fog for a $1M, and a.......Rainbow.

The bad news is that I'm abandoning building my coin generator to facilitate going for gold shrines. It's unbelievably repetitious and boring for little satisfaction. I'm rebuilding my one of every level 15 adult and one of every level 3 baby. And designing the park with logic and esthetics.

The last bad news is that Backflip Studios, the producer of DV, has been ABSOLUTELY UNRESPONSIVE over my billing problems. It works once in a while, so I keep trying to buy gems. Each time it starts to load them, then crashes and the gems aren't there. But my credit card is billed every time. At this point it's approaching $200.00. Hopefully you never have any problems because Backflip's customer is apparently non-existent. I've got Apple working on it now and they're fantastically responsive and helpful. I'll keep you posted.

Thank you. I cannot imagine ever being at level 29. Please tell me you only been playing for a couple of months. The good news apple is supportive and getting involved. Shame on Back Flip, but, the squeaky wheel gets heard and I am confident BF will do right. Keep us posted.
