Hey friends, just wanted to share this..
How i started playing DV is.. One fine day, the DV came as an adv. when i was playing some other backflip game and as the dragon icon looked cute, i downloaded it.. But didn't care to notice it more than a couple of weeks.. On one nice Sunday, my sister's son started playing it and i was watching, within a few minutes i had to grab my iphone out of his hands as i instantly got addicted.. Good that his father had both an iphone and an ipad2.. He installed immediately in the ipad2 and started playing..
This is a great game, believe me guys.. I inspite being an IT consultant (Single Male) still remember the days when i used to keep alarms in the nights just to collect DV coins and have a look at my dragons..
I am planning to get married in a couple of months and i am wondering whether my girl would allow me to play DV.. I somehow have to make her addictive as well and my problem would be solved.. My MISSION IMPOSSIBLE and i choose to accept it..

awww, what a great story! I only started playing when I was scrolling through free games on a whim (hadn't had my iPhone very long and was hesitant to buy anything much at all, hehe) and saw the dragon icon and had to check it out as I have always liked dragons. I remember initially being slightly disappointed (though cannot remember exactly why now, hehe) at first but suddenly finding myself obsessed very quickly.

I hope your new wife will enjoy DragonVale too but if not, that she can at least accept your addiction, hehe.

Think I was disappointed with how little I could see of the actual dragons at that stage and maybe that I couldnt really do 'more' but obviously got past that and fell headfirst into what I CAN do. They also adjusted the zoom so i could see more detail with the next update, which happened very soon after I started anyway. I just wish they'd stuck to that zoom (being able to see one whole island at least! )

I haven't sent you one recently but I had one outstanding from a very long time ago when I only had a couple of friends that I figured might have got lost (on MY part, NOT on yours) so it's not a bother. I've been wanting to share with you and some of my other originals again, but I always seem to owe more gems than I can hand out these days so there are no longer spares left over. Hopefully when I get my gem tree that will sort itself out

Yeah, I thought it had been a while. I'm not sure who missed who but I'll definitely make sure you get added back into my list sometime soon.
I always owe more too, hehe which is one reason I got the gem tree but my list has grown again since then anyway so it's kinda as 'bad' as ever, hehe. It's not a terrible problem to have though I know

Oh yes I agree, sleep also interferes with DV but it does give those longer breeds a chance to get on with it in the cave while we sleep. I don't know about any others here but I am always watching them no master how long it takes to breed and incubate....always watching them.

It's My 3rd job, (except the one I get the real money from and our kids) guess I will have "dragonbreeder" in my CV.

My husband are wondering why I take so long in the bathroom, I kind of hide my addiction..

Hmm, maybe it's waiting till the gem tree is ready in that case? Not sure. I had sent my 3 gems just before I bought the gem tree so I'm not sure how it handles the difference in gem gifting time/availability. I still got my 6 gems earlier than I expected. Again, if it does go past 24 hours waiting for the gem tree then remember to contact Backflip immediately!

You mean my previous post mentioning 100mill? If so, I was referring to the 6th island! Yes, 100million Scary stuff.

I'm just generally saving money now. Will undoubtedly want the 6th island but doubt I'll be anywhere close to the level needed to get it for a LONG time (the XP is takig FOREVER at these higher levels) so I probably have plenty of time to save up. Im not really interested in doing the shrines (for various reasons) but will probably get them all to at least silver (only Earth and Water left) even if I don't really level up many of my dragons past 10.
I mentioned earlier today - I hope I don't regret it, like if they make a new dragon that's only available when all your shrines are complete or something *eek*.

It's really hot here today, haha. So weird with all the different nationalities and timezones in here.

Where do you live then? We have had a very mild so called winter so far, my doughter is sad, she wants snow. Well, now the bus, then work, see you later!

Oh well really am off to bed now and I might actually get to stay there for a bit this time lol night x x x

dont think so

the restraint in the game is that you can only send 1 gem to on of your friend per 24 hours

You can only send one a day and how in heck do you have so many gems lol
