Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Hey guys! I signed up to this forum just because of Dragonvale.

Currently I'm a level 25 and I have completed all the goals, and every acheivement except for the Double Rainbow.
I have gotten rid of all of my plant habitats except for 1 (its a shame the max coin is 500), all my lightning habitats except for 2
and multiples of all other habitats except for rainbow (only 1).
I have upgraded my Plant and Fire shrines to Silver, and very close on Lightning shrine and Earth shrine.

In terms of RARE DRAGONS, I have been quite lucky and persistent.

3 MOONS
2 SUNS
1 RAINBOW
3 BLUE FIRE
2 SANDSTORM
7 REINDEER (I'm aiming for 12 and naming each after one of Santa's reindeer)

I just wanted to run a couple strategies and questions by you Dragonvale experts.....

Is the fastest way to level up XP to buy and sell the HUGE TREAT FARM?? You spend $750K in cash, but you get 750K in XP instantly.
What other methods are there?
Is the fastest way to get CASH, to breed water and fire for $500K every 2 hours?
What other methods are there?

I'm not really too into exchanging gems, because the only thing I've bought with my gems was the epic breeding island.
What do you guys do with your gems?

Last question: Was the BONE DRAGON a limited edition dragon? and is it too late to get it? Too bad I only started playing this a couple months ago.

I have 8 bluefire level 11-15, with cold boost in 3 cold habitats and they give loads of cash. I also have 3 rainbow, 2 moon and 1 sun, but the bluefire are more lucrative (because I can have 3 in each habitat) I also have 5 raindear on my boost-free island, and they give some money.

The best way to level up is to buy the 'Fire Dragon statue', sell it for half money, then buy it, sell it.. keep on doing it..
Other one is by harvesting food in the treat farms.. It helps to get more xp as well as store in more food to level up the dragons..
Yeah, you can get fast cash by breeding Airs and Sandstorms and selling them or any Air hybrids..
And with the gems, a lot of ppl speed up the process of breeding or incubating if they are impatient to wait..

Thanks for the info! I tried to filter through about a hundred pages but I couldnt find to much info....just lots of people asking about breeding combos.

It's my opinion, but the Fire Dragon Statue method, I would get 1 XP for 2 dollars.
If I did the same thing with the Huge Treat Farm (buy/sell) method, I would get 1 XP for 1 dollar.

Yes, but you REALLY need the food so you are getting XP and the food you need. I did the dragon statues when I had $170mil before this update and I really regret that. Food is a way better option.

Edit: Sorry, to be clear, don't buy/sell farms. Get the huge farms and buy and harvest food.

YIPPEE!!!! My Willow/Quake combo is a Rainbow!!! It's the last rare I needed! FINALLY! Now to work on two of every dragon and finish off my last 3 shrines to silver.

Oh lord! I just counted mine...including todays I have 21 1/2 days. Glad we have the gem tree is all I can say hahaha.

Just got a 48hr!!! I used the bluefire/crystal in the ebc. Thanks for the advice! This combo is usually a sun, right?

AARRRGGGHHH sooooo much more aggravation trying to change my islands this time around. Not only is the 'being unable to see one whole island' thing annoying me but I am also getting more frustrated than ever with the limitations of placing certain objects in certain ways...
Right now I REALLY wish I could place the habitats/colosseum on the diagonal (because I really like that look) but still have a straight path leading up the middle of the island, instead of that having to be zigzag/individual stones.

It really irritates me too the way we have to place things!

I do have to commend all of you that are playing on iPhones! I could not do it! :thumbs:

Ok so I've tried crystal + blue fire && crystal + blazing and got rainbow both times. I still need moon & sun. Any good suggestions..

Congrats on your rainbows! :thumbs: scorch/snow did well for mine. I posted all the combos I have written down not too far back if you want to look through them. :thumbs: I'm somewhat limited on time right now or I would do it again.

I use 9 out of 10 Huge Treat Farms to grown Dragon Fruit, and buy and sell the last Huge Treat Farm over and over again.

Is the BEST (most efficient) way to level up XP to buy and sell one HUGE TREAT FARM over and over again?? You spend $750K in cash, but you get 750K in XP instantly. (1 XP for 1 dollar)
What other methods are there? (Buy/Sell Fire Statue - 1 XP for 2 dollars)

Some of this I'm not sure on...I'm too lazy to figure it all out! Haha There are others though that will give great answers.

I bought the breeding island, the gem tree, have sped up several breedings/hatchings and save for the future because you never know what you will need them for in future updates.

Yes, bone was limited. Hopefully it will be back for Halloween.

Also if you breed 2 of the same dragons then that is what you get.

Ok ladies...I was reading, and reading last night...giggling...I was getting the eye rolls, shaking of the head, eyes looking up at me, daughter asking what is so funny until she finally decided to go home! I thought about chiming in but you were all going way too fast for me! Haha. I just have to say that I may have made a premature mistake/post yesterday...I think ya all are CRAZY! Haha J/K. My husband has finally come to the point if I get excited or whatever I don't even think he pays much attention...he'll just be like uh huh and not even look at me! I was reciting your comments last night and told him see! It's not just me! Eyes rolling at me. Hahaha. Told him see...I'm not that bad! His eye brows go up! Ok, maybe I am dammit! Lmao.
