Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Okay people - this is beginning to get increasingly frustrating. I just opened Dragonvale (after having completely shutdown) and received the following:

Your friend (blank line) Gave you a gem!

What tha?? How on Earth am I supposed to work out who that person is?? I got one from SillySmiffy straight afterwards that came through fine but I have no hope of determining who the other person was. I'm wondering whether I should just assume I owe everyone on my friend's list a gem and send one back to them - trouble is, this will take forever in order to make sure the current gem providers are not missing out on the ones I need to supply to them. Grumble, grumble, grumble ...

Happy thoughts now people ... can't stay grumbly all day!!

I might just be lucky, but I haven't had any of the problems described by everyone happen to me. I wish I could tell you how to fix it, but I'm clueless lol. Try deleting dragonvale and installing again. Game center will save your progress. (at least I'm 98% sure it will)

I'm really glad that I'm not having issues with gems. I hope they get it fixed soon!

I finally got my blue fire after six tries with fire on left (lvl 7) and reindeer on right (lvl 6)!

Lol! Thanks! I tried it again but got crystal! Its kinda funny! Now all I need is the tricky little moon dragon and I'll have them all hahaha(in my "evil" laugh)

Lol. It is just strange how one rare will allude one of us but it will ba a different one alluding someone else. Good luck! I'm sure it will come soon. :thumbs:

Hey Brooklyn I'm having trouble getting u on my friends list I'm so dying to see your islands seeing as you must be the top player or one of them lol I'm sure you accepted my request but I still can't see you in DV any ideas x btw GT500Girl love ur islands everyone seems to have a clear idea where they are Going mine r just a jumble lol x

I'm playing on my iPhone, and before the update I could zoom out much more than now. Is that's the way it's supposed to be, or can I fix it somehow?

And, does anyone knows how to make a printscreen from the iPhone?

Ok so it looks like the problems are on both devices. That is the way the newest update is.

Hit the home button and on/off button at the same time for screen shots :thumbs:

Whew! With the addition of the new islands it takes me FOREVER to collect the party hats. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack with all these big dragons covering everything up on top of that.

Oh gosh, me too. Actually I collect some every now and then. With so many friends my hand starts to hurt so I quit collecting so much. I know, I'm missing out on cash...wish there were a easier way to collect them and also faster loading of everyone's islands would be nice too.

I really need to learn some patience I'm dying to speed up my 48 HR I'm so desperate to see what it is need a sun but I won't complain if it's any of the others as I don't have a second rainbow or moon it's sooooooooooo hard waiting x

I am on the wonderfully small screened iPhone - forgot the shutdown coz I had been asleep and woke up when my dragons finished breeding and then went back to sleep until the next ones finished breeding (Hmmmm ... I sound a little crazy, don't I)

Yea me too now I have one of each rare I'm carrying them on gave up for a while trying to breed the rares I would like 2 of each but there's plenty of DV time for that lol I need to catch up on the shrines !

What would make it better is the friends page remembering where you were up to and automatically going back to the next name it's all the scrolling down that wastes time! Or a party hat collect button to hit so you don't have to go to the islands at all unless you want to x
