I think sandstorm is special in that it seems to prefer a lvl 10 (or higher) air dragon to be paired with a lvl4-7 mud dragon. With all the other rares I would expect better results with higher level dragons. I don't know if that theory holds water, but why else would people point out the strange quirk of the sandstorm dragon? I tend to try with my highest level dragons...hoping...hoping...

Higher levels seem to make a difference in the colosseum. Why not in breeding?

I agree with the sandstorm dragon having a constant pattern,knowing alot of people achieved there sandstorm this way. I don't know if this is actually true yet but it would make sence to having a greater chance at getting rares with a higher level dragon other wise what's the point? From now on I am going to try and breed higher level dragon to see if it really does make a difference.

I was wondering why some of my friends are not returning gems.. Now , i get it.. its because you ppl would have received more gems on that day and my name would have gone to the "others" list
Hoping to get some back.. and hope DV fixes this in the next update and also add a few new dragons..
Maybe they can even bring in a new element - something like 'Sky' and could provide more combos..
Maybe a new Rare dragon - 'Star' dragon..

You can only Lvl up ur dragons beyond 10 only if you complete the respected shrines to Silver.. Go through this thread and you will get ur answers..

Anyone had a problem of a lvl 15 dragon not being counted?

Yeah, i got that Problem.. I have a Sandstorm at Lvl 15 and it didnt count.. Does it mean that only the ones which are made Lvl 15 after the update count towards the shrine?? It was not the case with Lvl 10s..

Hi all, something very interesting.
As you all know i have been trying in vain to get a moon dragon, tried all the combinations but it eluded me.
@ nights ago (Sunday night in South Australia) we had a full moon and on that night at 800pm i put ice and scorch in the normal breeding cave and got a 48 hour breed. today it hatch (early with a acouple of gems becasue it was too intense waiting any longer) and I poppoed out my first moon.
I thought this interesting due to the various threads on time of day and such and given it was a full moon on the night it was conceived.
Not sure if it really had anything to do with it or not, but Ithink i will wait for the next FM to try again.

BIG Congratulations to you on FINALLY getting your Moon! So happy for you. As you know, I too am in Adelaide and my Moon was my first rare but I bred it half way through the day. That doesn't mean I won't try again next full moon!
