Where do you find your code so you can share it

Social Menu, then Invite Friends. Your code is there.

What I can't figure out is how to invite more than one friend.

After much back n forth between backflip studios and myself via email, I uninstalled and reinstalled dragonvale and got my social button to work long enough to collect my rift dragons, habitats and gems...wow! Thank you everyone for continuing to send me gems when you weren't getting any from me! I really appreciate it.

However, after about 10 minutes of gameplay, it has reverted back to crashing when I click on social. I will keep working on it if for no other reason than to gift gems to everyone who gifted me. Thanks again!

DragonVale 2.1 Update Notes!

Hello DragonValers! Here at our Secret Customer Support Lair, we wanted to give you a more detailed run down about what to expect in this update!

DragonVale 2.1 has three new customer facing features (plus some under the hood optimization stuff and bug fixes).

- Friend Codes!

- Screenshot your park Button!

- New Error messages

- **Under the hood optimizations for low end/old devices and bug fixes**

The most impactful features for you are Friend Codes and the new Screenshot your Park Button.

Screenshot Your Park!

In version 2.1, we've given DragonValers playing on iOS devices running iOS 6 or higher the ability to take a screenshot of your park and post it to social media (Facebook, Twitter), send it in an email or text OR save it to your camera roll. Unlike sharing goals, you will NOT get a gem reward for posting or sharing. To get the "Screenshot" button to appear, you'll need to deselect any habitat or decoration in your park, just like when you want to access the market, options or social buttons.

REMEMBER: You must have iOS 6 or later installed on your device to have the Share Park feature!

Friend Codes!

Also new to 2.1 is another way to engage with your friends and get free gems. There will be a few goals relating to this feature that will help walk you through how to share friend codes.

The important things to remember about Friend Codes are:

- You can have as many friends enter YOUR code as you can recruit

- You can only have ONE friend code activated in your game. Once YOU enter another friend's code, you cannot enter any other friends code.

- Your code is unique to your park and will not change. Using the Social Menu you can share your code across several different social media platforms.

- To summarize: You can share your own personal code with as many fellow DragonValers as you want, but you can only enter ONE friend&rsquo;s code into your own game.


To Find Your Friend Code:

- Tap "Social"
- Tap the "Invite Friends" button at the bottom left of the window
- You can share your Friend Code in a variety of ways using this window. This code is unique to your park and will not change.

To enter a Friend Code:

- Tap "Social"
- Tap "Redeem Code" at the bottom of the window.
- You can enter either a Redeem Code or a Friend Code in this window.

Reward Structure:

- There are two ways you will receive gems from your friend codes.

1. When a friend enters your code, you are awarded with gems depending on their level. A friend at higher levels will reward more gems initially than a friend at a lower level.

2. You will also receive gems for every set of 5 levels your friend achieves. At level 10, 15, 20, 25, etc. and all the way to level 50 your friends will continue to send you rewards over time. Please note, gems will only be rewarded on levels divisible by 5!

- To Summarize: High level friends will provide a big payout of gems right away, while low level parks will slowly reward you with gems as they grow!

Example:

- Craig gives Kyle a friend code. Kyle is level 15, so Craig receives 15 gems.

- Since Kyle activated a friend code he also receives a one-time reward of 25 gems. Gem rewards will appear in your Gift Menu.

- When Kyle reached level 20, Craig will receive another 5 gems! Craig will continue to receive gems each time Kyle completes a set of 5 levels.

New Error Messages

There are a few new error messages in DragonVale. In the past, players would get a generic Connection Error or Internal Error message. The new messages will tell us (and you) what specific kind of error your park is having.

- The error mentioning the Lightning Dragon indicates a server issue (most likely internet connectivity problems)

- The error mentioning wonky wizard spells indicates a client side issue (most likely a broken asset or bug that a Customer Support Representative will need to assist you with)

- The error mentioning an unstable magic portal indicates a connection error (internet connection problems - check your connection)

- The error mentioning a missing required file indicates a download error (reload or reinstall from your App Store).

Sure wish they would remove the magic from the breeding caves as I really don't like. It's been that way for too long! Just keep getting dragons I don't want or need. Takes the joy out of the game.

I'm with you Di. So frustrating and it's great to have new dragons ( love the new Air n Water) but we have nowhere to house them and my Hibernation cave is full. We need another island, more habitats and a upgraded hibernation cave.

I also wish that we had some more space. I am having to sell dragons that are at least level 10 from my hibernation cave to make room for the new dragons. Christmas last year was wonderful and I am looking forward to it.

Also, I was just about to post that I had finally completed all my goals and hatched at least one of every dragon (having finally got a silver Olympus), when all the new dragons were released.

My target for the weekend is to work out exactly what I have and what can go. I might have to sell one of my 9 panlongs or 7 paper dragons or do I sell some of the uglier dragons?
