Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Wow, so lucky! I'm having no luck with frostfire or sun. I've tried love/cold combo 5 times now and keep getting storms!

Keep at it, I also tried love/cold combo quite a few times with no luck, just tried again last night and got a 48 hour, not sure what it is yet, waiting is so hard!

I did that too cos I had the habitat forever before I finally got one! I'm so jealous of all these other guys that have 3 or 4 of them and whole islands of panlongs (you know who you are!) when I'm not even getting close to getting my 2nd of either of them!!!

Me too with rares. I managed second panlong with panlong 10 or 11 and plant 4 that order and keep trying. I think it took a day or two. Hope that helps ;-)

Okay there seems to be a bit of interest in running this comp. Why don't we set up the first one for a weeks time ... something like between 3pm and 6pm Saturday afternoon in the states (the 25th of February), 11pm Saturday evening in England, and 9am Sunday morning in Australia? I'll start a thread tomorrow for the competition, outlining the rules and everyone that wants to play can post a screen shot in it.

11 pm start in England means 2am finish! Would you consider an hour earlier start please?

I suck at emptying my panlong habitats, so i have 9 rainbows as they hold more cash. Took me forever to get my 1st rainbow and i was trying for a moon with bluefire and crystal when i got my second. They will come eventually...

I finally have my EBI - thanx everyone that sent me gems! Although I had a bit of a panic attack 2 days ago when I went on DV to find that my gem count had dropped from 123 to 117!!!! (my 5 yr old son had decided to speed up an egg for me!!) Anyway, finally made the 125 gems with everybody's help. Now I'll save up for the gem tree xx

What was your first dragon produced by your new EBI? Congrats!

On another happy note, I had tried love and cold in the past and achieved nothing. As it was 'hot' again I gave it a couple more tries and got a 12 hour breed which, due to prior disappointments, I assumed would be a cold. But YAY, it was my long awaited second Frost Fire. Very happy!! Not long after that I sped up a failed breed by 1 hour so I could get an overnight breed in. Couldn't decide what to put in so went to 250Strong's thread and decided to give flower and storm a whirl. Major Woo Hoo coz came up with a 48 hour breed!! Could be anything, but so hoping for second Moon or Rainbow. Patiently waiting it out for another 25.5 hours. Patiently, patiently ...

Congrats o your Frost as they are IMO the rarest of all and your 48 hr. it's a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngest four days to wait

But when did you start? Those individuals may been playing for months before you started. Like myself I started in January and I am finally seeing results from days of frustration and disappointments. You'll be those individual shoes shortly.

As I fell asleep last night I forgot to go party hats hunting. I have to ask Poppy, it appears there activities on QueenVictoria islands. Are we going to witness a CGCF II shortly?

I'm loving the combination of Love + Cold. It's like a wild card and I have managed to get breeds from Flower to Poison to Scorch to Frostfire and now, another 48hrs which I'm presuming it'll be Moon!

Works well for me now since I've all the dragons and am just working on the shrines while waiting for the next update

That's true Vampi64. Like what Segbert says, some of us like 'senior citizens' in this game now. I started pre Halloween so probably in Sept or so and I'm nowhere near Brooklyn and Corey even! Don't be discouraged. You'll get all your babies
