Well, I couldn't wait any longer and used some gems to speed up the latest Love / Moon Combo..... IT'S MY SECOND MOON!!! :thumbs: Yeah! I just put them back in and got an hour breed time.... oh well...

Congrats cant wait for my moon to come.....hopefully its soon

They should introduce night and day in dragonvale because then you could get a night dragon and stuff. That would be really cool. And I also think they should create a chat on the actual dracgonvale game to chat with your gamecenter friends

Your islands are beautiful! Very nice design! Hopefully we'll get an update past level 30! I'm getting close, and I'd like to continue the adventure!

No ,me too, I very rarely use more than one treat farm, I also sold most of mine, I only have five but I could live with one lol ,as I grow a batch of food as soon as my DC gets to 5 mil and currently I do this 2-3 times a day depending on how many hats I have time to collect lol !!! now and then I grow a few pumper melons overnight sometimes but I always keep one free just in case I get enough cash. X x x

I only have two of the large ones - I don't see the need for any more since my pace dictates that I buy the volume production.

The developers were very, very clever in how they built the game. Everything is progressive. You start with cheap high yielding Plant habitats and work your way up through the stages to what is the current ultimate: Earth habitats filled with Panlongs. They've done the same with food, with shrines, with levels. Makes it fun at all levels.

Try a different love next time. You got a LOT of rare dragons from just those two. Congrats on your moon!

Wow, I got two 48 hrs within 3 hours and fireflies were my failed attempts. Did you switch the love, that's how I got my second 48 hrs. Good luck.

As I just have one cold. I run a lean operation now. Trying to pay for ALL that food.

I agree with you 100%. There is NO need to rush anything. If anything it comes back to bite you in the rear on both cheeks. On the left because the game gets a bit boring when you completely finished all your goals (right, Brooklyn and Shavemeshavers?), and on the right because things seem to have gotten easier for those who started later. Ugh, when I think of how long I sat at the original max level and all the xp I gained went up in smoke, the level 15 dragons that didn't count towards the gold shrines, ...

Yep and everytime it bites me in the rear. Lol. Oh, I know! A lot of us sat at level 20 for quite some time. That's why I had so much cash and food. I did however hold off on leveling any dragons past 10 and I am thankful for that one good decision. :thumbs:

I don't necessary think it's better or worst it all depends on your patience. I have 6 larger farms and 3 medium farms. I use 8 to grow 3000 treats each which takes 24 hours. Unfortunately it would take days to bring 2 to 3 dragons to level up if i have to wait to harvest 240,000 treats. So i keep that ninth farm open to do the quick treats. It expensive but I don't want to wait and I get an extra 100,000 + treats for free by waiting 24 hrs.

Oooo now that's a good way ov doing it I'm trying to save for the 5th island so not to bothered about feeding em straight away lol xxx

Yay for another great hubby I almost think great spouses/partners are a prerequisite for for sticking with this game. We've heard so many touching stories

He is the most wonderful husband in the word but if I was playing DV before that he would of done everything in his power to make sure I didn't get that iPad.

Oh yes, now that you mention it I remember how amazed I was. That was quite a jump!!!

I had asked yesterday if other level 30 players still compete in the colosseum. Just so everyone else knows, you don't win any xp. But the gems are still nice

I do on occasion. As you say, it's nice to get the gems. But I don't like to do anything that limits my flexibility. One nice thing about my Nursery Island is that there is at least one of every habitat there. So when I compete I move the baby to the HC and put an adult in it's place.
