I got that cursed message again..."others gave you gems". I got so sick yesterday afternoon that I didn't wake up ladt night to check DV...well I woke up but did not feel for logging on. I am misding four gem senders from overnight...basically 11:30 PM - 10:00 AM US Eastern time. Here are the one's that were listed. If you sent one and are not listed here please let me know. Thanks. Yep and just my luck as I spent so much trying to work on golds. This is exactly why I decided to hit the brakes snd slow it down a bit! :thumbs: I always get ahead of myself...I guess I learned patience in one aspect, but in one I didn't...but I'm working on that now.

I agree with you 100%. There is NO need to rush anything. If anything it comes back to bite you in the rear on both cheeks. On the left because the game gets a bit boring when you completely finished all your goals (right, Brooklyn and Shavemeshavers?), and on the right because things seem to have gotten easier for those who started later. Ugh, when I think of how long I sat at the original max level and all the xp I gained went up in smoke, the level 15 dragons that didn't count towards the gold shrines, ...

I have to agree... I kept getting all suns and didn't think I was EVER going to get a moon! Seems like all of us have one rare that escapes them for a while. And I've seen many post about having trouble getting Frostfire... I got all 3 of mine by accident!

You're right, frostfire, blue fire and sandstorms can turn your hair gray too. I feel really lucky that with the exception of sandstorm (and of course sun and rainbow) all other rares and limited came to me immediately on my iPad. Not anywhere as easy on my iPhone account, but I only go in there once a day and still got everything

What time do you think it is in Dragonvale land?

Judging by the shadows - a nice touch - my guess is that it's about 1:30pm.

Compare it to riding your bike from LA to San Diego vs driving your car. Use the bike and you'll spend a bit of money on Gatorade, but it takes you forever and a day. Drive your car and you have to pay (a lot!!!) for gas, but you get to SD in no time.

I think it is reasonable that you have to pay a premium on fast delivery of huge quantities of food. It bites, but that's part of the fun. I decided a while ago that we all must have a masochistic streak in us, lol

There's also flying.

Much, much faster - and probably cheaper - than the other two. That's the one I want. But I can picture my friend Fletch on the bicycle! LOL.

You got tht right Adam. I know I won't be quitting anytime soon. It would be really sad. I for one was really annoyed with the golds at first. The more I sat back and thought about it though the more I realized it gives me something to do in between things so at this point I am in no hurry to complete them. Lol I think we all go a little coo coo but that is probably the point...it's fairly well developed if it can keep us going. :thumbs:

I don't know about anyone else but I got my first iPad the day iPad 1 came out. (bless my husband for going to stand in line with a major broken ankle to buy me one for my birthday) I have not stuck with any other game longer than maybe a month at the most but DV.

Yay for another great hubby I almost think great spouses/partners are a prerequisite for for sticking with this game. We've heard so many touching stories

I have a question, and to help me solve it, I think I need your help Fletch!

When I'm visiting, collecting party-hats (which happens way too seldom) I see that the dragons in the habitat I collect a hat from is twirling (is that a word, or did I just made it up??!) around a bit. Have anyone else noticed that? And, out of curiosity, is the dragon moving at the owners too or just for me? And this is where you come in Fletch! Can't you and your wife take a look when you sitting next to eachothers? Please?

You know I think it does I'm not the law on this but when the level cap increased to 30 I was automatically at 29 sp to get to 30 was easy. So I believe yes the experience is carried over. Breed on!!!!

Oh yes, now that you mention it I remember how amazed I was. That was quite a jump!!!

Hehe, I don't think it's cheaper or faster. Gotta figure in getting to the airport, pay for parking, going through security...I'd drive unless it's at rush hour

About the gold shrines: I think I will just level up the dragons I have and not care about if they are this or that. Of course I will make new panlongs, to increase the income flow, but not do anything special to hit gold. I want all my dragons to be level 15, that's my goal!

I did try your combo early this morning and I have a moon in the hatchery. I brought gems to sped the incubation period. In addition to producing two bugs, but that's fine as I just completed the silver fire shrine Thank you for posting this combo.

I just opened both my accounts and visited my iPad island on the phone. The dragons are doing completely different things, eg some might be flying on one screen while they are walking on the other. Nothing special happened when I picked the hats.

Right there with you I had lots of xp points that just went away that I wish I had now
