I've had this problem a few times, where it is very difficult to get the hats, but eventually I always get them (I think). I'll check out Poppy's

Iceberg: Water/cold

Frostfire: cold/blazing, cold/scorch, cold/firefly, cold/bone

Panlong: blazng/mud, fog/lava, fog/bone

So I wake up at 4:30 AM...time to check for gem senders and collect cash. Oh, I only have 1 gem that came in. I could of kept sleeping! Well I'm awake so I screenshot it..don't want to grab the notebook and wake up hubby. Now I'm back to 500 gems...actually 501 to be exact because I had that one come in. I realize oh yeh! Both my pairs breeding need restarted a hour or so after going to bed. I start the level 15 blazing/mud for another mud. Well that was worth it! Lol. Go to the Epic island and get those going again....to get another 36 hrs!!!

Yay!!! I got my 2nd panlong! Same pair as the first time! Level 10 blazing, level 10 mud. These are both dragons that came from my level 15 blazing/mud while trying for panlong. 1st panlong came on 1st try with this pair, 2nd panlong came on 4th try with this pair. Wondering if I should keep trying to see if I get another with this pair. I guess I can give the level 15's a break and collect some cash off them finally.

Just found an annoying glitch. I've been collecting party hats. Thanks everyone ;-) on two islands, separate owners, the hats were partly covered by decorations it wasn't possible to collect them.
One of them was the fifty million island belonging to Poppy where the sun habitat is fronted by trees. Very pretty.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Sorry Hazel, but that's one of my favorite looks in the whole park. I love the way it looks like the sun is just rising. Now if I just put those Cold habitats on that island somewhere else - they're totally inappropriate there, but I don't have another place at the moment as every island is committed to a theme:

- Colesseum Island: grand entrance, shrines, flags, etc.

- Nursery Island

- Breeding & Hatchery Island: Gatekeepers House, lots of greens for privacy, Air and Water habitats because they go nicely IMO

- Chinese Gold Coin Factory (CGCF) Island: I'm kind of happy with the way this one looks with it's Asian theme, given that it's a *working* island

- Village Island: I loved the way this one looked before I had to park the Colds there, which are part of the CGCF

Maybe I should pungle up the $100M for the other island. Only problem is that I'm continually broke building those stupid gold shrines. It's that "because it's there" syndrome.

Does everything think that's an adequate amount of digression? Helen, I'll send you a gem.

Thanks! I too always feel my islands look lame when I see others islands. I do think everyone's islands are great because none are the same. Maybe they should do a psych study on what your islands say about you as a person!

Lol! Mine would say i have OCD and am a neat freak! Ive fiddled my islands so i have more habitats on my panlong island to mke money and the layout is driving me nuts cause its not symmetrical!! "think of the money Tiff, think of the money!!"

Wow, Fletch, you're quite something. I love that you took the time not just to visit all these parks, but really look at the detail and take notes. KUDOS!

I think my islands were at their best just after Panlong and the Chinese decorations came out. I moved a lot of habitats around yesterday in order to get more coins, yeah my panlong and my cold island islands are my money earners. Of course this could all be maximized, I could get rid of lighting and fire habitats (did you notice I don't have a plant habitat...gave up on that a long time ago). But I really need to draw a line somewhere to keep the game fun. It can't all be about the money, right?

The thing with the egg statue was a glitch at the very beginning when the game first came out. I had all my portals on the 3 original islands like that...it's kinda cool how the visitors come out of the Egg's column. Then, one day I tried to move one portal and the egg statue wouldn't go on it anymore. Bummer. Eventually I also needed to move the second portal, but the third (last) one will stay no matter what.

I still have the egg statue on my portal on one of my islands too! Im pretty sure u were the one who told me about that glitch ages ago and i used it! I too moved a couple if portals before i realised they fixed the glitch. But i still have one ans it aint movin!!
